I succesfully installed the latest update, but still have the problem that I pointed out in my last request for support: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/display-of-posts-on-post-page-part-2
The posts displayed on my posts page could be shown more ‘gracefully’ so to speak.

Very quiet over here…

I did not find the cause of the error message. After the installation failure of the zipfile I did the update and the site crashed. I reinstalled it. So what you now see is the website as it was before the changes.
The message ‘target folder already exists’ surprised me, because I expected that the update would add a few lines to the already existing style sheet (which is present in the target folder Careta).

Today I tried to upload the zipfile to my website, but I got an error message, reading:
Target folder already exists. /home/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxx/bonabene.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/careta/

After that I noticed that there was an update of the Careta theme and installed it. The style sheet had changed after the update, for I lost the space at the top (see my other request for support). Which I regretted by the way…
Then I closed my browser and after some time I wanted to log in again. Bad luck…!

The same thing happened to me! Same error messages. I could not login anymore, because the Captcha-plugin became corrupted and logging in in the ‘usual’ way by wp-admin resulted in an error message. There remained no other solution than to reinstall all the plugins and a couple of other files using ftp.

I need a few days extra, but I am still here!

I promote my site this week especially and for that reason I cannot risk a crash. Next week however I shall try it and let you know of course.
I suppose that I will have to open the zipfile in my dahboard, just like manually installing a new theme? Can you please confirm that?

One more thing:
The minor problem of the tiny gap between header and page of the homepage only exists when I use Chrome or Safari (on tablet or computer). Internet Explorer and Firefox display everything correctly.

Thank you so much, Liz! It worked.
I added the code and changed the space from 10 to 20 pixels. I guess that there is a similar way to align the posts in such a way that the margins on the left and on the right are (more or less) the same. Could you help me with that as well?

Btw: the screen resolution of my computer is 1920×1080. The result is satisfying, so to speak. I checked it on my Nexus 7 and the effect was the same, just as on my iPad 2. So it works with all screen resolutions, I think. Strangely enough, on these tablets some (orange) space shows up between the header and the page of the frontpage itself. It only shows on this homepage, not on the other pages. I do not feel that as a big issue, but it’s something that mcunha98 might want to repair in future.

First: thank you for this great theme that perfectly meets my needs!
I’ve got a little problem with the display of the posts on the post page.
I work with NextCellent Gallery and generally speaking all the posted items are displayed well. It would be nicer though if a little bit of the (grey) post page showed up between the upper posts and the header. Now these posts are directly connected with the header. How can I fix this?
