If you are using a caching plugin you need to purge the cache. Also the page can no longer be cached otherwise you need to purge the cache every 24hrs.

Because of the way this version of cf7 works you need to purge the cache every 24 hrs in order for the form to continue to work. So you need to either uncache the page the form is on or rollback cf7 to the previous version.

The conflict is with your caching. You need to disable caching on the form page.

We are using the Storefront theme but in hindsight I don’t believe the update to WP 5.7 fixed the issue. My site is on Cloudflare and my IT guy created a page rule so the contact us page is not cached. I believe this is what fixed the issue.

This is a much better solution and I will reactivate your plugin now and continue to use it.

In future if you interfere with another plugin you must notify the user as it took me a considerable amount of time to debug the issue.

Hello Sir. This update is very problematic as it also deletes the site key and secret key from the cf7 plugin but does not implement the additional code which is necessary to have your recaptcha working. To fix the spam issue I was having I have had to disable your plugin and enter the site key and secret key for my 3 websites in the cf7 plugin again. You should not force people to use your recaptcha in cf7 but instead give them an option.

Edit: The issue occurs in Desktop view.

I have the same problem. “There was an error sending your message. Please try again later.” surrounded by an orange box.

In my opinion your plugin is not using Redis at all and simply the object cache from WordPress.

If I ‘Disable Object Cache’ your test plugin still says it successfully found the Redis test key.

And also, if I disable your Redis plugin the results are still the same??

These are the results but I still don’t understand why the database has no keys in it?

Isn’t object-cache.php supposed to be in /wp-content/ ?

Your plugin says I am using database 8 and I select this in the Redis command line and when I search for keys it says its empty.

If you could add a debug tool I would appreciate the effort.

I have 8 databases so I would prefer if nobody was tinkering around with them. There are 4 Magento sites all of which Redis is working perfectly. You can simply tell me what commands you want to excute and I can do them for you.
