In reply to: [Highlight] Blank space between hero area and contentThat worked perfectly, thank you!!
Hey Ben,
Thank you!! What you’re saying makes sense to me broadly, but I don’t have the know-how to know what to change to get it to load asynchronously. Can that be achieved with code added to the GiveWP reCaptcha snippet in the PHP Inserter plugin? (If not haha, I’ll call in backup and let the devs sort it out!)

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Backups never completeHmm, updates on that second link I thought I might follow:
it’s definitely not 1 or 2, and I don’t think 3 either since we have version 1.16.26 and haven’t been alerted about that.
4: we use godaddy, seems pretty unlikely to me that they do this but I will check.
5: using the shell doesn’t seem like the best long-term solution for us b/c I want the owner of this site to be able to do some of this himself in future, and he would not be comfortable doing so.
6: nopeSo I guess I need to reach out to GoDaddy next – before I do though: if I were to try adding the line define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true); to the config file, will it cause any errors if that is NOT the problem? (is there a way to check that this is the best solution before I add that?)

oh oops, sorry Matheus! Our premium account w/you guys is under my boss’s email so I will have to coordinate with her to do that. Will do though! thanks!
Ah thank you! That’s much cleaner, haha. Thanks for the new knowledge!
Update: I’ve manually adjusted w/CSS fixes for the specifically odd fields (using “width: 400px;” and such), but I would still love to know if there’s a way to have give dynamically adjust width and height so that content is not cut off. The “comment” field on this form is a good example of one still weird – I would love for that one to stretch the full width of the form, but if I try using a hard “width: 700px;” for it, it looks awful on mobile. (For some reason the others I did like that seem fine on mobile.)
Thanks in advance, CSS/Give gurus!
Hey Dean,
Thank you! Okay that is all really helpful. Hmm, we do required the security code but I still see several charges that now that I look through, seem really shady. If the transaction is already complete though (like I didn’t catch it when it was pending or anything), there isn’t a way to reverse it or cancel is there? Would we have to initiate that through Stripe?
Do you use a captcha? We’ve heard that might help but also that it may discourage actual donations too, and weren’t sure how true people find that latter fact to be.
