Hi, I would like to know how to make a ‘collage’ of photos that look like they are one. Which shortcut column function do I use. Idea being one large square picture, with three vertically staked ones next to it. Can I just crop one larger picture that is pixel divisible by three.? 300 px. imaage in the first column and then three staked 100×100 ones. Is their another way?

I did check the version I had de-activated on my sweetgeodes site. Not sure of the version but it was NOT 2.01. Perhaps it was something like 1.3.1 if I remember. ???

I have not done any editing using it but I enjoyed having it. Will NOT upgrade it EVER! I also downloaded the 1.27 version as well.

Thanks again … might even be a problem with my theme comparability. So far, I found the upgraded version created havoc on two of my sights and when I killed it, the sites returned to normal. Visual presentation, not possible as I do NOT want my site (Main Title) looking like that.

deactivate the KAPLUgIN GFonts. When I upgraded to the “new update” it totally screwed up my main title. I deactivated all of them included Disqus which I thought was the problem.

Slowly I re-activated them and everything worked again. However on one of my sites that did not have this font program, when activated and launched it did the same thing. Deleted it and all files and the site became normal. Same themes on all the pages.

The first site no longer has it and I miss it. The other two have it activated but I will not upgrade it, as that is when the problems began.

Egad, I simply am not making my point. I have Akismet and found it to be much less effective than claimed. On a weekly basis I had do delete some fifty or more spam messages from China. I then had to go to my hosting service and put block filters on the IP addresses. Even that didn’t work.

I finally found another plug in called ‘Bad Behavior.’ Finally my spam disappeared, not thanks to Akismet.

My “comment spam” is not spam it is a screw up with Contact Form 7 and I cannot even go into my Dashboard to delete it, as it doesn’t exist. All my other comments show up, just not this one.

Leaves me no option but to COPY all former comments and put them into a blog and leave Disqus as my only comment forum. I might even paste some of those comments into Disqus and leave it at that.

Totally like the new Special Recent Posts FREE Edition plug in and would rather add a few more pages to it, than to this Comment Form that simply hijacked and inserted itself into my website.

I am totally confused by your answer. Contact Form 7 plugin is the only comment forum I have except for Disqus both of which are entered at the bottom of my page.

The only COMMENT widget I have is Contact Form 7 and it had been working fine until recently.

Contact Form 7 is my plug in contact form and has been so for quite a time! All the other comments by Herbert are my own and have been added recently — NOT the Herbert on MY RECIPE PAGES & FAMILY GENEALOGY post that does not show up (for deletion purposes) in my comments plug in edit page. All the others do!

They further explained another issue of mine:

“The messages are only allowed on the site if they are approved. The advertiser gets an email first, so that one piece of data is legit. Secondly, the publisher gets an email before anything goes live, or anyone gets charged.” Program still needs tweeking so the plug in does not install a generic post at the TOP of you main website, before you even have time to edit the settings as one does in with weather sites etc.

Your company site never responded to my concerns.
1. Total lack of control over who the advertisers might be and if they might conflict with your own standards of acceptability.
2. You could not provide ONE link to a website that uses this.
3. As a site becomes more popular … you can or cannot renegotiate the terms of the contract. ???
4. As a former manager of a large Nursery I would never use “text only” advertising in the newspaper. It was a no winner then and remains so today.
5. Do you really want your website cluttered with personal ‘facebook’ adds pushing God knows what on your pages? Again NO CONTROL! (Lonely Stud muffin seeks mate a few years younger than himself. Asian women welcome!)

As long as they pay their dues to Broadstreet its legitimate. Still don’t know how these persons can put up a contact link on their ad. Must go through Broadstreet.
6. Any such second party plug in will slow your site down.

All that said, I like the idea of ads being able to be put on individual pages using a form. Most widgets or ads will past onto ALL your pages something I do not like.

I will look into a plug in that can create forms that might incorporate a bossiness card picture and a link to the advertiser.

Thanks I just went through my account manager at inmotion and got the namerserver pointers changed. Was told the same thing by the help staff there. Whe wordpress 3.61 was just extracted today as well. Something was wrong with the last download.

Will just have to wait for that propagation period. sequimplants can use all the propagation help it can get.

I really thought those name servers were re-set last week when I did some site parking changes. Apparently it did not take.
Two addresses were added today directing it to inmotion.

I finally removed the built in slider program and the other I tried and used “Soliloquy.” Since then I have had no problems. The other slider I downloaded just in case it did pan out was … “Cyclone Slider 2.”

Shortcodes Ultimate was another plug-in I found that just is beyond belief. I have come to find that the default plug ins that come with themes, be they Parabola or Weaver 11 pro may not always be the best. Lots of research needed before downloading plug-ins. The WP shopping cart is another questionable one. I believe WP Simple Paypal Shopping cart might be preferable. Have not really begun using it but I am hopeful. Stat counters are also a bit tricky.

Totally agree with one comment. These LARGE sliders can be overwhelming to the visitor, esp. at the default speed settings. At least adjust those turnovers upwards to make them less distracting.

I have to add that I fixed it by changing the memory allotment default and upping it. My website came back anew and I could log in again.

I went to that file and checked those lines (could edit) but I found nothing that I saw that indicated a problem and I would be wary about editing anything there. This is getting worse by the hour. Can’t even load another template into my WordPress account as I am locked out.

This is becoming a major disillusionment with WordPress in general, not just the theme I used. Now I cannot even upload some alternative themes OR more importantly get to the site I had, to post the needed links to my hosting site for possible recovery. The longer this lasts, the less likely they will keep the previous badkup before the messed up one. I need to post ALL the links I wish to be recovered and cannot even get to my site to do so.

Not knowing the woo-commerce theme and potential costs after a free trial perhaps I would prefer to use the Free small Paypall commerce program or foxypress. Can I change that preference? Second question being can the slider height be changed. I personally would prefer a less intrusive slider feeling it distracts viewers from where I would like them to go.

I also hope that the upper links can be edited and arranged in priortiy to me. Very difficult to do (in menus) with Weaver 11 pro. And considering that I lost 26 pages yesterday, I would like my money back for a theme that is very hard to edit properly.tried Parabola but the limitation of widgets brought me to Weaver. No response to my Fatal error crash by WordPress and do they have an older backup.

Trouble is, I backed up my site when my homepage went blewey. I didn’t know that it affect ALL my pages and that by backing up I over road a better one from last week. Lesson being back it up to a dated file on YOUR computer, and do not count on WordPress or your hosting site.

I am totally leery of Weaver 11 now, as I just updated three widgets and got the same Fatal overflow message. I will have to delete that folder from my site.

I just lost all my Weaver 11 pro pages and I might want to try this on.
A list of your widgets might be nice to see.

gallery, slideshow etc. One issue being adding the small paypall checkout program and are 8 widgets enough.

My question is: Can the slider be height shortened. I tend to think that these big sliders interfere with the attention span with were I want the viewers to go … namely to my site and its products.

I have a major problem with Parabola. I cannot edit my homepage! Go to dashboard/customize site. It shows a preview to your site and seemingly I can edit (site title, colors, header image, background and static front page or not.) When I click HOME — nothing happens. I would like to edit the speed of the sliders (or change them) same for the four pictures below and the links not yet established. Text of course. I cannot do this. Clicking on About Me,Contact Me, Links, Blogs and Products work. WHY Is This?

I have also made a category list with sub menus that do not seem to connect to the products page which was my intention. In the Products page I made 3 or four sub menus and hoped to have a drop down menu, but all I see is an accordian means of doing it. No drop downs?
Anyhow, I have spent a lot of time on this and if it does not work out, I will attempt to use Weaver 11 pro theme which I know has some of these features. What I would like to know is this. If I switch to another theme to test drive it, is this one saved should the answers be found and I return to it. Is it saved anywhere?
