Tried the rename, but got the same result. Also talked to my host, but there have been no changes lately.
So I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. And now it works. No errors and I can once again access all the settings. Weird, but I guess it’s working again ??
Sorry, didn’t mean to say php.ini there as I’m using .user.ini. To be honest I don’t know the difference ?? What I meant to say was that the .user.ini hasn’t been changed since the plugin was working and that the auto_prepend_file directive is pointing to ..ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php. The full path of course and it looks correct, as it did before when it was working.
But I did the test and under auto_prepend_file is says “none” and that NinjaFirewall is not loaded.
Not sure if this is still an issue for you, but did you try the simple “fix” of logging out? When you’re logged in as admin you can see the website as you normally would, but for everyone else(unless you change the settings) it’s in maintenance mode, and so will you be when you log out.
Ty for the response, but it didn’t work though.
Im not using any templates or anything like that. Just the shortcode with the album id in it, shown as “image list”. This shows all the images in thumbnails, and when hovering the cursor over a thumbnail the title pops up. This is what I want to remove.
Im not very skilled when it comes to php and im not even sure if im editing the right php file, but I feel like I have tried them all now lol.

In reply to: Feature content from another WP siteThanks, I’ll look into that ??
But before I do anything, im trying to figure out whats the best way to display the content from a tag or category within another post. Let’s say that im not running 2 sites anymore, but have merged them and I now have 1 wordpress install with all the content.
It’s a bit hard to explain, but I’ll try. Let’s say I have a site with 2 parent categories (A & C) and 2 sub categories (B % D). I make a new post and file it in the parent category A and the sub category B. In this post I also want to display the posts (as links) from the sub category called D. And the point is so make it dynamic so I don’t have to manually edit that post whenever I add new content to sub category D. And then imagine I have like 500 categories with 500 sub categories or more, and I want to link many of these together in the same way. How is the best way to do that? I have been looking for a plugin or something, but im not quite sure what to search for.
As I said before I have been using feeds up till now. I make a post on site A, add some text etc. and then use a rss feed to stream content (and display them as links) from a specific category or tag on site B. But having hundreds of feeds running all over the site would take it’s toll on performance wouldn’t it?

In reply to: Feature content from another WP siteForgot about this question since I did a bit of a change in the feed url which made the whole thing more stable and working…for a while anyway. Now it’s back to the original problem which is some of the feeds are working and some are not. I don’t know, maybe it’s a bad solution and im running too many feeds on my site.
Converting to wordpress mu, how will that work? Still 2 separate sites, but now linked together? And the thing you said about it being very difficult. Was that for real or were you just being ironic? ??
Any other tips on how I can take the content within a tag on one wordpress site(site b), and show it on another wordpress site(site a)? As I said in the op I was using the plugin multifeedsnap, but it’s not supported anymore and im not sure how running so many feeds will affect the website performance. The content of both sites are increasing every day. Also, both sites are on the same server, but have different wordpress installs, because I wanted them to have 2 different templates.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradeYeah the “delete one time events” is still not working for me, even with 3.0.2. It’s not a big deal since I usually don’t use it anyway and it doesn’t seem like many others have this issue.
But if you want to look into it anyway I posted a screenshot at tinypic. This is how my settings page in my admin panel looks after turning “delete one time events” on. What you see on the screenshot is all the way scrolled down, and all the tabs except for the infotabs are gone from the settings page. The widget still works though and all my events are still listed there, but as you can see i’m unable to add more or do any other changes unless I reinstall the plugin.
As mentioned earlier, i’m using WP 3.4, PHP 5.2.17 and 3.0.2 version of the plugin.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradeSeems to be working now, at least as a new install and activate. Wasn’t able to try updating. Also, disabling seconds (and whatever else you want) is now working properly ??
I’ll try the “Automatically delete ‘One Time Events'” function later when I have some more time, since I had some issues with it in 3.0.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradeYeah I have the same issue with the “countdown time display”. You should look into that as well fergbrain ?? In 3.0 the settings for whether to show seconds, minutes, hours etc. doesn’t do anything.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradeHmm, it went from bad to worse ?? Was able to update the plugin through WP admin, and even though the plugin still worked it didn’t fix the issues im having.
So I deactivated it and now i’m getting a fatal error when reactivating. Got the same error when I remove the plugin and reinstall it (3.0.1).
“Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/gamerdlv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/countdown-timer/fergcorp_countdownTimer.php on line 1158”
Using WP 3.4 and PHP 5.2.17.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradefergbrain: I got this issue after reinstalling the plugin(reinstalled because of the update error).
I have used this plugin for a long time, however i’ve never tried the automatic delete function before, so I have no idea if it used to work on my site. After setting it to “yes” and saving everything in the settings page in the admin panel disappears, except for the tabs: resources and installation and usage notes. The “one time events” tab is also there, but it’s blank and so is the rest of the settings page. The widget however is still working and still has all the events in there, so it seems to just fuck up the settings page. Deactivating and reactivating doesn’t make any difference after this issue appears.
Also, changing the looks(removing weeks, minutes, seconds etc.) doesn’t seem to work. Changing the settings doesn’t do anything.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] [Plugin: Countdown Timer] Fatal error withe upgradeHappened to me as well. Reinstalled the plugin and it works. However there are nonworking functions.
Like clicking the “Automatically delete ‘One Time Events’ after they have occured?” to “yes” makes most of the options disappear, along with all the dates. Also, the “Countdown Time Display” options doesn’t do anything. Tried turning off seconds, and seconds are still shown..
