  • Any chance you actually forked it and have a reliable alternative @wlpdrpat ? I am getting several issues with depreciation for php 7.2 and 7.3 (in particular the Function create_function()) and it is really bugging things out.

Didn’t expect such a fast answer, and it seems I’m a moron or simply didn’t look close enough. Weird as I spent quite some time. Everything good, I changed my rating and will look into this further.

Quick question: Could it be possible to book hotel rooms with this too? My client has both a small travel agency and a villa for rent, but the tour’s description is tailored for services more than for accommodation so far as I’ve seen.

Hi, I totally understand it doesn’t work that way, as no stock is managed on product level. I was more looking into a “visual” solution, showing something like this:

“if product has 0 in stock but has variations, display in brackets (stock of var-1, stock of var-2,…) instead of 0).

It seems feasible with conditional JS or jQuery maybe?

In the meantime, the solution of only showing the variations seems pretty nice. Maybe though something to visually keep them on another level by displaying before each “set” of variations the main SKU/product they refer too.

And I also believe you will need a button to activate/deactivate this “variation mode” or else you will make other clients without variation a bit angry ??

Thanks again for your feedback man, I’m not a very good coder but if I can help in any way, let me know. Maybe translating the plugin in French for you would be nice ?

Please find below 2 screenshots of the 1st product in the list, when closed (showing 0) and when variations opened (acurately showing 1 stock for each variation).

Hi, I know this topic was set as solved, but I still have the same problem (just added the plugin). All my products are set to “1” in stock for variations, but I haven’t changed stock of main product (which does nothing when you have variations). But the plugin displays them as red with 0 in stock nonetheless.

Hi, I second this request ! Please allow us to use percentage-based width for it to display properly no matter which size is the container. Especially on a sidebar size that vary on multiple occasions depending on theme and device, this is a HUGE oversight !

Your plugin is awesome, but PLEASE make it 21st century ready ??

Would definitely consider donating if you do this by the way.

Tried building a package with smaller website, had exactly the same problem.

Host proposed to deactivate varnish, but it can take up to 3 hours so I’ll have to try that out later on.

EDIT: Tried building package while excluding “wp-uploads” folder, DIDN’T HAVE ANY ISSUE. However it used to work pretty fine with packages over 500mo, so I don’t know why it suddenly changed…

Could you confirm the pro version will work perfectly with sizes up to 2Gb ?

My host is asking me if you updated anything related to nginx lately. As it was working well when using on their shared hosting plan, but doesn’t work anymore when using cloud plan. They are mentioning neither the shared nor the hosting plan have nginx configured.

EDIT: weird part is that I am on an Apache server, and it shows a nginx error. Could it be a problem of the plugin thinking the server runs on Apache? (or vice-versa). Wehn checking the Diagnostics comming from Duplicator under the “Tools”, it does state that my server is Apache:

Seems like it was indeed the transparency that was causing issues, which is quite a surprising fact (Illustrator or Photoshop adding transparency elements? Maybe 1 or 2px line on corners that I haven’t seen when manually cropping…)

I simply added a white background on the plugin and forbid compression/conversion for files lower than 100k to make sure it doesn’t touch my logos etc. Seemed to work fine.

PS: I noticed Google PageScore still says I should compress my images, should I force re-optimize a couple of times to achieve better compression, or is it a known fact from you that Google folks don’t consider the images optimized by EWWW as “compressed” enough?

    Thanks for your help nonetheless

I have a feeling it was conflicting with WP Super Cache, but I’m not sure it resolved my problem. I switched to the cloud version, at least it should work fine with that one. Will try and get back to you.

Firewall or proxy issue shouldn’t be the problem, since i’m on a standard shared hosting on one of your recommended and affiliate hosts, but can it be ?

I also purchased an API key for the cloud settings, and when I save the settings, it jumps back to the basic settungs and doesnt save the API key at all. Problem with my plugin install ?

    It is up to date.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

I tried doing it on a single image in the media library, it didn’t work either (same file name and “.png” extension, also notable is a mention “no savings” in debug mode). I doubt it is a picture with transparency as it is a simple shot from a camera. I saved it on my computer and saved to jpg in Photoshop, and the file was indeed smaller, indicating there is work to do on it.

I sent you using the “contact us” form on your website the debug log from EWWW settings, as well as the one before (last optimization) and after I press “PNG to JPG” in the media library for a single file.

    Thanks for your help !

Got it: The plugin just have reset the settings and “un-tick” all the display boxes. Don’t ask me how, I guess it was during a wrong save from my part, but You should try the same, it worked for me. False alarm !

I don’t understand why but this morning it stopped working the same way for me too… Store or any product displayed using shortcodes don’t work anymore…

    Hi guys.

Would anyone be so kind to give me orientation on how to perform this?

What would be amazing for me is to simply register a slider that would display the pictures I enter as a wordpress gallery in the “photos” field below.

Or a simple way to upload 2-3 pictures that would act as a slider instead of the featured image.

Any help on where I can find info for this would be greatly appreciated!
