In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie description and PolylangHi @rogierlankhorst,
I can define purpose, expiration and function differently for the two languages ??and it’s ok.
Do you think these fix will be introduced in future versions of the official plugin or will it remain a branch on its own?
Thank you very much

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie description and PolylangHi @aahulsebos,
I uninstalled the plugin and installed the version @rogierlankhorst indicated. The settings have actually been kept as you told me.
But unfortunately it acts in the same way: if I change something in one language it is changed in the same way in the other too.Thank you for your help
Best regards

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie description and PolylangHi @rogierlankhorst thanks for the reply.
Honestly, I did not understand all of your post despite having read it several times, obviously due to my ignorance on the subject.
I just can tell you that before this update there were no problems with the translations.
I tried to install the version you indicated in a local repository for test but I see that it does not overwrite the previous one and I have two plugins installed, do I have to uninstall the old one before installing the new one and configure it from the beginning?Thank you very much,
Francus

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie description and PolylangHi @jarnovos
Thanks for your kind reply.
I hope a solution will be found because in this way the plugin is obviously unusable in multilingual sites that use Polylang. Thanks again.
Have a nice day

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie description and PolylangI add a few details that may perhaps help the investigation.
For all pre-existing cookies there are no problems, the differentiation between the two languages ??has been maintained correctly.
Only with the cookies that I add, or by editing a cookie already present, the issue shows itself: expiration, cookie function and purpose defined in one language are modified in the other language in the same way.
Hope it can help to understand.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] new google analytics formatHi @jarnovos,
Thanks for your kindness.
I have done my tests and everything works as I expected. I see that with GA4 there are only two cookies and not three as in UA, otherwise everything works as with the old code.
You can close the thread if you like.
Thanks again and have a nice day !!

I look forward to the official update hoping it goes better.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Link to Privacy Policy in the bannerHi @aahulsebos I’ve tried in a local installation to update to give you some feedback.
But obviously I didn’t understand how the update had to be done.
I replaced the files marked with “allow imprint and privacy policy on cookie banner” but the site now point on Github ??So I will wait for the official release, but in the meantime if you want some feedback please explain how the manual update should be done.
Best regards

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Link to Privacy Policy in the bannerI add ,if it can helps, that in another site in one language only (Italian) I have the same problem, I can’t get the link to the privacy policy on the banner, only the cookie policy. Of course, here too the “link to custom page” has been linked to the privacy policy page, but nothing appears in the banner for the privacy.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Link to Privacy Policy in the bannerHi @aahulsebos thanks for your reply, the site is in two languages ??(with polylanguage) and the two documents, cookie policy and private polycy, are custom and not automatically generated. The thing that happens is that if in the wizard in the documents “link to custom page” to the two pages in Italian, going to English the choices are canceled. And viceversa. And in any case, the privacy link in the banner does not appear in either of the two languages. some idea?
