Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I installed WordPress on a subdomain, not a subdirectory, and finished working on it.

I followed steps on a page (can’t remember exactly which) that said to copy everything in the subdomain where my site was over to my root and upload the same index.php file.

Everything works perfectly, except I’m wondering if I should delete the first copy of the site on the subdomain without causing any problem to the database and breaking the new version of the site now in the root.

No one was directed to the subdomain beforehand, it was just a development subdomain before going live.
