In reply to: [All In One Favicon] Not working in IE9Ok just to put this to bed… This problem seems to have arisen because of the interaction between the plugin and the ‘Builder’ theme – I solved it by deactivating the plugin, uploading my icon to builder’s settings page (which overwrites favicon.ico once and for all) and then reactivating ‘All in one favicon’.
I can now see the icon in all browsers, in the front and back end.
Thanks for being patient Arne!

In reply to: [All In One Favicon] Not working in IE9Thanks again Arne,
I see this line of code, but since I have overwritten all the favicons (including builder.ico) with my own version I don’t understand how it is still finding the original theme favicon…
Do you have any idea?
I appreciate your help

In reply to: [All In One Favicon] error after upgrading to latestsame problem – seemed to break something in the back-end.
everything appears to be OK client-side so think it’s fine to leave active (if you can put up with the error messages)
Any chance of a new update?

In reply to: Problem with media libraryOk fair point – I switched and problem gone, so must be theme based!
thanks all the same!
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with media libraryOk thanks, but I don’t believe it’s a theme problem – I only added that information because I could upload images via builder’s tools.
The problem is with the media gallery, which is a standard part of WordPress, regardless of theme…Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with media libraryTo elaborate further –
I am using iThemes builder to create the site, and I am able to upload images in the ‘edit layout’ section of builder’s theme settings – these are the only images that correctly appear in the media gallery.
I have also attempted upload the images manually using my ftp, but they still appear blank in the media gallery.
Hope this helps in understanding my problem, any help much appreciated.
Tom
You can also achieve adding an image by modifying your styles.css
.bigcontact {
background: url(‘path/to/image’) no-repeat top right;
}
something similar to what we did on our site https://bigemployee.com/contactHope this helps
Thanks very much Arian, this was very helpful – I have achieved the effect required using custom CSS like you suggested. I will mark this topic as resolved.
Thanks again, Tom
