I wish I could be sure and able to give a clear answer, however, I really do not know. All I know, is that the minute the 4.0 update was done, the Add Media Button ceased to work.

The theme my website uses is not any of the default ones. Therefore, I am not sure how much the update affected this theme and what I can do to fix it permanently.

Great, thanks for the advice. I will create a new thread, however, since the core of topic will be the same, I do not see the reason for doing so. But if these are the rules, I am happy to apply them.

I have a problem exactly like some people describe it here – the Media Button is not working after the 4.0 update.

Nothing seems to work for me, as I don’t have anything like SEO. Disabling all plugins fails to solve the issue, and the system also asked for the Sticky Social Toolbar (God knows why?), but it hasn’t improved the functioning of the Media Button either.

Please help!!
