  • I found that my problem came with my WordPress address (URL) having uppercase letters, and apparently PHP does not like that. I suggest making sure that the URL is all lowercase.

Worked for me – WordPress 2.7.1 – thanks!

WordPress version 2.7.1, Flash Player 10.0.22.87… I was unable to Insert Gallery or Insert into Post. The Insert Gallery button either didn’t show up, or was unresponsive (depending on the browser). Insert into Post would just give me a blank white screen after clicking (if I could even get to the button)… and no images were added to the post.

I resolved these issues by changing my WordPress and Blog address (URL) to lowercase. Now all image features work perfectly in IE8, Chrome 1.0 and Firefox 3.

Hopefully this helps someone else =)
