In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Lost all stats on my blogThank you @erania-pinnera – much appreciated. Just checked and stats are all good now. much appreciated.
Thank you for your reply Steve.
In answer to your question: it did not have a caption. But, I went back, and added a caption by clicking on the image and selecting the edit icon, then saved it.
Now the syntax looks something like this:
[caption id="attachment_4648" align="alignleft" width="150"]<a href="IMG_4864.jpg"><img class="wp-image-4648 size-thumbnail" src="IMG_4864-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a> Test caption[/caption]
By adding a caption, the rest of the missing syntax gets added in. If you scroll to the right, you will see the image is the same. Of course, the “attachment” number is different.
HOWEVER, this is new behaviour. Used not to have to add a caption to make the tags show up.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Compromised blog – fixed but Google links don'tThank you for your help. This has been resolved. Once I submitted a request to Google to review my site all has started working again.
Ryan –
I replied to you via email. In case you did not see that, please let me know.
I have not installed or removed any plugins since the 18th. All that was done was installing the upgrade to the “latest” WordPress version as well as themes. Dashboard says all updates have been installed.
The drop in stats has been big. Suggestions?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] 2.0b1?Yes, what changed?
2.0b1 – as in “beta”??? Is this a half baked “upgrade”, like the recent previous ones?
Tim,
Thank you for the reply albeit late. When will be this new release you talk about come out? We have all been dealing with this with little or no support. A target date will be nice.
Looks like JetPack is not too eager to solve this problem. Still no answer…
JetPack Support: an update would be nice.
You would think that with the amount of folks here having issues as shown on this thread, JetPack would have had some update for us. I don’t see it happening…
JetPack developers: are you listening? How about an update on what is going on here?
Add me to the list. Running JetPack 1.8.2 and no emails are being sent. JetPack: Any suggestions? What is wrong??
Louie
I have had the exact same issue happen on my blog after updating JatPack. I thought you might want to CLICK HERE for an entry made over at the JetPack support page. There are other folks that have had this same thing happen to them.

In reply to: lizamoon reference in jetpack twitter php fileWordfence is a great tool. This is the second “issue” that Wordfence has caught regarding suspect lines of code in trusted plugins on my WordPress blog.
I do not wish to hijack this thread, but you can CLICK here for another example of invalid code found by Wordfence.
The point I am trying to make is that Wordfence is catching lines of code in plugins that might go unnoticed. The fact that Google has marked these URL’s as suspect is of high concern to me. Why would there be mention of those URL’s in a plugin’s code is something that needs to be addressed. I think the folks at JetPack should explain in detail what is going on. For example, see the link I posted above.
For the folks at JetPack: the scan made by Wordfence is showing the following link to Google: CLICK here Safe Browsing Diagnostics regarding Lizamoon. Sure would be nice for you folks to look at this promptly and let us know what is going on. Is this a line of code that can be safely deleted or as Inamills has done, the entire twitter.php file needs to be deleted?
JetPack – we are awaiting your reponse.

In reply to: lizamoon reference in jetpack twitter php fileI am getting the same error.
What is this all about and what can be done to remove this hack.
Hello – Jetpack – anyone?
Erick,
This is awesome. Thank you very much for the detailed reply.
I actually updated the row in my database and basically nulled out the “option_value” field in WP_OPTIONS. The row is still there, but with no data in the field.
Also – did you get my documentation I entered on your support site? There was something there I think you need to be aware of. If you did NOT, please let me know and we can figure out how you want me to send you what I found.
Once again – thanks!
Thank you carmichaelalonso. I will try to contact them directly with that info you gave me. I prepared a lengthy description of what I was able to find out.
Just so you know: I did go into my production wordpress database and I did run an update statement against the row with the invalid address on it. Basically I removed the entire section that had that website URL. I have not seen any adverse behaviour, although that was just a couple of days ago.
Hopefully they will reply back to us soon.
I have sent a very detailed message to Photocrati via their support page. I included the information I listed here PLUS more. I was able to find something else that as esmi said is not suitable to post here. HOWEVER, the good folks at Photocrati have not replied back with any information and/or comments.
I sent the information to Photocrati before I posted any information here. PLUS, what I found is conclusive evidence the problem is on their side not yours. So Carmichaelalonso if they try to blame this on your website being hacked that is not true.
Carmachaelalonso if you are able to send them an email and let them know about the information I left, that would help them figure this out.
There is certainly MORE to this.
