One question: What and where is the image name? Surely, if the image had a name, then the default WP search would be OK?

Currently I use the default WP search field (extreme top right of my theme). I wanted to have multiple blocks on each page, but each one to be individually searchable. Keywords would be very simple – Beetroot, carrot, coriander….

Maybe there’s a search plugin for more advanced search?

This particular site is purely for private use, and access is blocked by using My. Private Site.

I realise that a similar question about the Twenty Eleven theme ought to be in a separate thread, but I’m having the same problem in that theme with trying to find the option, on pages, to not allow comments.

Looking at Screen Options, and ticking Comments doesn’t help.

Do you have any ideas? In other words, on some pages, I don’t want to have Comments available. Could you please advise me how to do this?

I don’t see in Settings -> Discussion any way of disabling comments, but unchecking Allow Comments works on the edit page of each existing page.

However, even if I Allow Comments on the Post page, there doesn’t seem to be any visible option to allow a visitor to Comment.

If they click on 1 Comment, then, yes, they can comment, but there isn’t an invitation to comment. I assume it is designed this way on purpose?

I’m sorry, but that’s beyond my skill level.

Is there a simple way of not allowing Leave a Reply on my pages, and just allowing visitors to leave a comment on the Blog page?

It seems odd that Leave a Reply is on all pages by default.

I’ve found the German host I need, but the domain names need to be registered at a German address.

Can anyone offer a German registration exchange? I can offer either a Swiss or UK address.

Or is there another workaround?

I need a German domain and hosting for one of our websites for SEO purposes.

I’ve still not found quite what I need regarding German WordPress hosting, having been involved with other projects (and I did follow the above suggestions):

I’m looking for a German host (or maybe a professional) who can set me up with the following (for 2 sites)

1) German domain names
2) Web hosting (preferably with CPanel admin as that is what I’m used to}
3) Pre-installed WordPress or Fantastico

Could anyone offer any suggestions?
