@jamesosborne I’ve followed your suggestion and I’ve changed the url by removing the www prefix. After this I’ve re-added the www prefix and now Site Kit seems working correctly. I hope that the problem will not occur anymore, thank you for the support.
Hello @jamesosborne , unfortunately I’m unable to move the files back into the subfolder where WordPress was originally installed. Is there any way to reset sitekit without doing this operation?
Hi @jamesosborne sorry for the delay in the reply.
At the moment I’m continuing facing the permissions issue, but as I said, all the Analytics properties were created by me. I’ve found some old GA accounts for each property that I’ve now deleted but the dashboard after configuration with the admin account where I’ve created the new GA4 properties will continue to show the error.
Is there any way to fix it?
Based on your latest comments can you confirm that the plugin in your case isn’t defaulting to the correct account, as opposed to not being able to select it?
Yes, the account is recognized and the problem is only with the UI. A strange issue is with the GA4 statistics, I’ve created the property in last days and I’m the administrator, When I’ve installed the plugin I was able to see the stats, at the moment the plugin show an error message about permissions, but I’m the owner and I think this is related to the old GUA properties that were created from other peoples. I’ve asked them for deletion, this problem will not occur from analytics web dashboard.
Thank you for the support

Hello @jamesosborne,
It’s not a problem with the property, it will be detected correctly, the problem is with the UI that will not give the ability to select the desired account. To fix it I’ve clicked on the dropdown menù and selected using the keyboard arrows the desired account, then pressed enter and I was able to sleect the account I wanted to associate with that particular website.I think it’s just a bug, nothing related to my GA4 or tag manager accounts :)`
