Can I just download the development version and upload the plugin without uninstalling or deactivating the 1.8 version. Whats the process exactly I don’t want to lose the current styling of the menu.

Does it replace the 1.8 version automatically, and then allow me to just click update plugin when the official version is released?

In WordPress websites, this is typically a result of third-party plugins or the active theme referencing the resources improperly. Usually, an improper reference is one that is hardcoded into the source code of template or plugin files. The hardcoded references are not able to be dynamically filtered or rewritten when the site switched from insecure (HTTP) mode to secure (HTTPS) mode.

Im guessing Im going to have to start looking around the plugin code files and such to find the line that references the stylesheet?

Please take a look at the site where menu doesn’t show url is https://www.michaelschemist.com.au with the non SSL version where the menu works at https://www.michaelschemist.com.au

I found that in the source code on the https version of the site it is referencing the non https location stylesheet

Hi tom, thanks for replying.

I had seen that and applied the fix to remove the icon placeholders. (Thats something at least).

I would still like to have icons, was wondering if i have my own icon set, how can i make these show up next to each menu item? Is it possible to add them as images or something like that, can i put html code in to the menu somehow or something like that.

Or am I out of luck having gone with Storefront.
