This was indeed, a TERRIBLE idea. Don’t you think that this type of LIMITATION should be a toggle that the admin of the site should be able to turn on/off? In fact, ANY LIMITATION added to the tool, unless is security related, should be an toggle in the settings panel. Can you advise where is this code and how we can revert it? Thanks!
Same issue here. We enabled Wordfence Captcha yesterday, now past users trying to login back in are getting messages that they need to VERIFY. Luckily I (admin) was not locked out and after reading this thread, I just disabled CAPTCHA in wordfence.
I wish that REGISTERED users would NOT have to do this re-verification. They are already verified through Buddypress (in my case).
If there is a solution that doesn’t disrupt current registered users, I would love to hear.
I would agree. I find it super complicated for a vendor to setup their sore and add products. I would like to simplify the work for the vendor and me as admin will complete and create variations if there are any.
1- How can I remove some of the complicated fields from the vendor form? Would it mess up woocommerce or if I already have products in the store?
2- Can I add fields to the form that goes to a pop up with gravity form to submit some info? How can I edit/add links?
3- On Settings> Store Settings: We removed social media fields, but the gamification bar still says add G+ for 2% more. How to change the logic of the progress bar to only account for actual fields we left?
4- Can I disable the ability for them to add a banner for their stores? I want all banners to be standard to my site look and feel.
Many tks
I agree with Amnion, the wizard as is and without allow admin to customize is pretty useless. Most stores end up looking very ugly, and we can’t use the wizard with just those 3 steps.
Pls create a module for Site Admin to add steps to the wizard
Mine was working fine, then I switched stores from beta to permanent address. So I decided to reconnect the store and got the first error as everyone reported here. Then downgraded to 2.1.11 now I get this new error msg:
Mailchimp says: API Request Error – 500 :: CURL error :: Illegal port number on 1453 in /var/lib/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/includes/api/class-mailchimp-api.php
Any clues?
Same issue. No fix? It used to work just fine… then Kaboom!
