Using SCPO you can sort the categories by manually placing the category short code in your page ie

[download_category category=”cars1″]

[download_category category=”cars2″]

[download_category category=”cars3″]

Then if you filter that category in your admin area then you can drag the files to alphabetical order

I found Simple Custom Post Order (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/) useful in manually sorting downloads, you just drop and drag to have them in the desired order, not quite as awesome as an auto sort feature, but close enough considering how well “Better File Download” has made my job easier

You can sort via a single category or multiply categories in desired order you put on your Page

I have found the same issues as you have described with 0.6.7, I tried 0.6.6 but it showed the drop down menu twice on the edit PDF page, so then I tried 0.6.5

This is how I solved this error:-

Download Version 0.6.5 from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/send-pdf-for-contact-form-7/advanced/ (scroll down the bottom & select this version from the drop down list)

Uninstall Version 0.6.7 in your WP console

then install the downloaded version 0.6.5 rather than the online repository and the module will work.

Just make sure that you don’t accidently upgrade the plugin when upgrading others, I’m planning to hold out until ver 0.6.8, but will be exporting those settings so I don’t need to re-set up my PDF again

Thats not a problem, we plan on using it in house by staff rather than the customer booking directly, so email address isn’t needed

looks like it’s doing the same with wordpress 4.9.5–en_AU, no error just the turning circle when you put the url in, but no link or install buttons
