@philsbury thank you for confirming. On closer inspection it appears that this was an issue with a different plugin

@djennez that didn’t resolve the issue, but it seems to have revealed it might be caused by my WP version being too old. I’ll review if updating resolves the issue tomorrow, but this can likely be closed.

Having a similar issue, the button no longer displays on ACF WYSIWYG fields. Also, there are issues toggling between the visual and code editors when a Brightcove shortcode is present in a post:
