I just resolved this. I contacted my hosting company this morning and they told me FreeWebMonitoring.com was the cause. They advised me to remove this service and I just have done this. FreeWebMonitoring.com opens requests to the server that hosts my website and leaves the connections open. That way the number of open connections accumulates and as a result of this my website becomes unavailable.

I just unsubscribed from this (imho) stupid ‘service’… ??

My website is up again.

Ok, I’ve changed News & Discussion to News & Blog. I’ve put the audio widget on my homepage on top of the right column. Is better this way because visitors will see immediately now that there is music to be played.

The two questions remain though… ??

I have two questions because I don’t know exactly what you mean…

1. What do you mean with use the background of the header section as slideshow? Do you mean that I should delete the current four images? I was thinking that they were a nice and smooth part of the homepage… But there are no other images as far as I understand and can see?

2. I don’t know much about RSS feeds. What do I have to do in order to achieve what you are suggesting? And what’s the use of it?

Ps, I will rename the News section as you advised. But I have to think about where to put the audio widget in a way that I will not screw up the lay out of my homepage.

Thanks to you my site gets better and better from a technical point of view. Thank you very much. I’m new in this world of website building and WordPress. I just wanted something simple that would enable me as a musician to present my music to the world. I’m an autodidact and I never thought that my site would evolve to what it is now. WordPress is just great and the fact that you can choose from so many premium themes is great as well. I realize that this vast variety in themes can be a con at the same time. But I’m still very happy with my theme that I bought on Themeforest from BrutalDesign. It’s the MusicPro theme and it can be customized as I wish.

I still have one issue though…

If you look at this page https://brainvoyagermusic.com/store/ you can see seven images. On all the laptops and desktops I’ve been using (with IE and Chrome), these images have a slider bar on their right sides. But not on my iPad. When you click on an image, you will land on the single products page. There you see exactly the same image, but now it doesn’t have that slider bar .

How can I get rid of that slider bar? The images are not too big, I tried to make one a lot smaller but the slider bar got smaller too and stayed were it was.

I did not want to wreck the lay-out of my homepage because the size of the font changes as well when I change the H#. So I decided to amend all the headings, starting with H3, then H4 and finally H5.

Question: is it mandatory to put text (as paragraph) underneath a heading? Or can I make a heading e.g. H3, and right after that a number of headings H2 with tekst underneath them (paragraph)? That’s what is the case now.
