In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Can't find shortcodeThis is the test site which will be deleted once the live site is completed and operational : https://idchip.websanon.com/
The above site has 1.3.3 and works fine. You will see from the forms that the id chip number is crucial.
The live site is under contruction. It is running v1.3.4. I cannot add the id chip no in admin/edit record. I enter it but it isn’t saved.
The input form on the site won’t accept the number even though it has the validation box ticked in admin.
It’s nearly midnight here so I will be offline in 20 mins.

In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Can't find shortcodeI have removed 1.3.3 and installed 1.3.4 as suggested. However I am finding that a 15 digit numerical field will not save to the record.
I have a test site still using 1.3.3 and that does save the field to the record. BTW my one and only search requirement is on the unique 15 digit numerical field to display the one record that matches.

In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Can't find shortcodeThere is a code for displaying a single record [pdb_single] so it shouldn’t be impossible to dispay all records. However dtat protection may be something to be concerned with.
I would like to have a search facility on one field and display that one record. I live in hope.

In reply to: Coraline Theme – removing top menuThanks but I will try to find a theme that doesn’t have a menu in the header area.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Coraline Theme – removing top menuI don’t need that menu. I can put a “home” button on the sidebar, don’t need “about”. URL suspended while “under construction”.

In reply to: Coraline Theme – removing top menu[code removed per forum rules - please use pastebin.com for this]
Don't know what pastebin is. Is this it?

In reply to: site now shows install wpIt seems that the mysql database has been deleted – not by me – could have been someone hacked into my C-Panel or it was the web Host.
version not known, can’t get there to find it. fairly recent I think
have started again and used import from my mirror site on wordpress.com for the content.

In reply to: Is this genuine WordPress?“Do you have access to phpMyadmin? via Cpanel or similar perhaps.
Or do you have any recent db backups?”
Yes, I can do phpMyadmin via Cpanel. I can also get a backup from my mirror site on wordpress.com
I have never used phpMyadmin though.

In reply to: Is this genuine WordPress? What? it’s supposed to have “silence is golden” in it?
I don’t know if the database is intact, I am currently unable to ftp into the site, and anyway how do I find out if my database is intact?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Is this genuine WordPress? No, it isn’t fine. It’s a fake. My index.php in the content folder has the message “silence is golden” and little else and yes I did delete install.php years ago when this blog was first set up.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Is this genuine WordPress? You have missed the point. I already have my own wordpress site. It has been hijacked and re-directed to mysite.com/wp-admin/install.php

In reply to: Is this genuine WordPress?Uploaded again because content missing on original post.
When I try to access my blog all I get is a page that looks like an official WordPress page with the latter part of the url: blahblah.com /wp-admin/install.php
I took a screen print but I can’t display it here so the page says:
Welcome
Welcome to the famous five minute WordPress installation process! You may want to browse the ReadMe documentation at your leisure. Otherwise, just fill in the information below and you’ll be on your way to using the most extendable and powerful personal publishing platform in the world.
There is then an input for “blog name” and e-mail address.
I suspect a scam and that if I were to click on anything I would get a virus. Any help would be appreciated.
