When authenticating via Google you should see 2 pop ups that appear once accepting. Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like:

A pop up with an access code key should appear once you login via Google.

Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end? Additionally can you confirm that you’re using the latest version of our plugin and WordPress?

Just to confirm once more, there is no malicious code within the Google Analytics plugin, all it does is add the code I posted before into your blog in order to enable Google Analytics.

Can you please double check to see if your popup blocker is disabled? This is normally a symptom whenever the Google Authentication process is not able to fully work.

Can you please identify the code you are concerned about? This plugin injects lines of code into the header in order to add Google Analytics tracking. Those lines are:
