In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] Google analytics error!!Hi all,
Thank you for reaching out about this error, apologies for the inconvenience on your end!
Our engineering team found the issue yesterday and updated the amount of Google calls allowed to make. Google’s API has limitations for requests per minute which is why you’re seeing this error. We have gone ahead and raised the level and you should no longer see the issue.
If you’re seeing this issue, please let us know and we’ll continue to debug this problem.

In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] Authentication problemHi @fater,
Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help clarify here.
1. The access code is used to authorize a connection between your Google Analytics account within WordPress. You just need to copy and paste the authorization code that pops up once you log into Google to connect with Google Analytics.
If you’re interested in manually inserting your tracking ID, please click on ‘Manually enter Tracking ID’. Here’s a screenshot: https://cl.ly/ifEk
2. In order to enable the dashboard features within WordPress you must accept the terms which is why you’re seeing this message.
3. You’re only able to track one dashboard within your WordPress back end, unfortunately we do not have the ability to show more than one at this time.
If you’re interested in having both websites to share the same Google Analytics account, you can do that and would just have to select the same Google Analytics account on both sites.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues. My goal is to provide exceptional support and to make sure all is well upon installation, if I have done that today please considering leaving us a review ??
Hi @chajm,
We did a bit more investigation on our end and realized the error was from Google’s API call restrictions for requests per minute which is why you’re seeing this error. We have gone ahead and raised the level and should no longer see this error.
If you do, please let us know.
Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know, we’re still investigating this matter and hope to release a fix revolved around better authentication. I’ve let our engineering team know of the error code you’ve received, I’ll be sure to follow up once we know more.
Hi @steve13565,
The access key is provided once you authenticate via Google. You should receive a pop up once you allow permission via Google.
First box would look like this: https://cl.ly/iMq2
Second box is this: https://cl.ly/iNazOur release for 2.0.4 will have these features sorted out, I’ll be sure to let you know once we launch an update.
Sorry again for the inconvenience guys.

In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] FAILHi @bennyboy79,
Thank for you reaching out and providing feedback.
We’re sorry you’re experiencing this issue. Our engineering team was not able to replicate this issue you are describing but looks like it happens when there is a conflict with other plugins.? If you can test for conflicts that would be extremely helpful and we would be able to identify the bug faster.?
You can test for conflicts by:?
* Disabling all plugins, except Google Analytics and seeing if you still have the issue.
* If yes try reverting to a default WordPress theme
* If the issue has magically disappeared then there is a conflict, reactivate each of you plugins one at a time and keep testing, when the issue returns just let us know what plugin or Theme it was.Sorry if that was a bit long but we’re trying to gather as much details as possible so we can resolve this issue for our beloved users ASAP!

In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] Anonymize IP missing supportHi Jesse,
Thank you for providing feedback. I had a quick question, what country do you reside in that require this portion of the code?
In any case I’ve let our engineering team know and they will be looking into adding this on the next update.
Thanks!
