ok, sorry……….i have a website, on my website there is a place where I can log in to get to my dashboard. I know the ID is admin, but my password does not work anymore. I click on “lost password” and they e-mail me a link……this is the link

    https://www.bcarneyglobalenterprises.biz/blog/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=e!TC@SCclWFl

after i click on the link it takes me back to my sign in page and says…….
Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid

So I can’t reset my password cause I can’t get into my dashboard to change it.

Do you need anything else?? I have not updated to new version of WordPress cause i feel it’s no use till i get things straightened out.

Thank you kmessinger for being a little less aggressive then xamataca

First of all, I’m sorry, I meant I e-mailed WordPress themselves……no help, NOT people in the forum!

    Second I will search

Third, I don’t know what wordpress version I am using, I am all new to this and I am appreciative of all the help. I am trying and for those who are computer literate forgive me for not having the capability of knowing what all are talking about.

Yes, I did read the link and went to it, and again I am having trouble. Forgive me xamataca for being ingnorant.

Yes, I have done this, have extracted into the file but I don’t see it on my site…….is there something else I need to do? Also, my site was designed by someone else, so is this going to be a problem?
    Thanks
