UPDATE:

Per advice found on THIS PAGE, I downloaded the most recent version of WordPress to my desktop.

I accessed my GoDaddy FTP File Manager.

I updated all the files EXCEPT the wp-content folder.

Now I can access my dashboard and my site is viewable again, although the theme has gotten JACKED. My custom header and colors are lost. Looks like I’ll be doing some rebuilding, but the good news is I’m back online.

Alright, I did that. Now I have a NEW fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/content/63/6848663/html/wp-content/themes/evolve/library/functions/options.php on line 11

This time I actually got to the sign in page for the dashboard, but receive this message upon a log in attempt.

I appreciate the help. I actually tracked down and installed an audio player and am cooking with gas now!

Actually, it was easier to just save the header and background from the .com and upload them to the new one after installing the theme.

Next problem: My media isn’t showing up right. Before all I had to do is post something like [audio https://example.com/media%5D and a player would automatically show up. Now the whole text string – including the brackets – shows up on the page.

Is there a difference between how .com and .org handle that code?

I just want to get this resolved so I can focus on BUSINESS.

Alas, I did that the first time. Just tried it again in case I missed a step – but no. Theme and graphics still missing. ??
