Hey Matt,
Thanks for your quick response! I actually did a backup of my site to yesterday through my host GoDaddy, and talked to my hubby about it (he works in hosting there). I simply waited for a while, as I’m on a managed account, and now everything seems to be okay. Everything’s updated except for WP’s latest version, which I was told GD is working on.
So it may not have been your plugin’s fault exactly, maybe just a way it wasn’t working w/ the host as they were trying to update WP or something.
Thanks!
Having the same problem as @gnc99!
Also getting this notification:

Bree Brouwer”.I’d also like to verify the files noted by @neilcford are safe. I have the same warnings.
I simply deleted the plugin and installed the newest version, and everything’s now working.
Having the same issue as MrMountain and skadu on my GoDaddy-hosted sites. Same specs as these two, w/ most current version of WordPress not seeming to find the 4.0.3 version of Jetpack (just keeps offering me to reinstall 3.9.7).
Thanks, Stefanico. If it is actually Google’s fault for showing the meta description this way, I don’t know if there’s much else I care to do with the plugin then.
@downloadhub, your question isn’t related to the ones webblogsforyou and I were asking. You should start a different thread.
I’m having a similar issue to webblogsforyou. I updated my meta description template in SEO by Yoast a few weeks ago, and Google seems to have FINALLY picked up the change.
However… the problem still isn’t solved. Only HALF of my meta description shows up in Google’s search results. The plugin shows the first half of the meta description, on the first line of Google’s snippet result, and then the second line starts showing the title of my latest blog post.
Anyone know what’s going on here?
Unfortunately, that didn’t work. I deleted all the data, deactivated the plugin, deleted it, and then reinstalled from scratch. I’m still getting an email notification every time I login with my admin acount.
I changed the email address under “Wordfence -> Options,” logged out of my site, and re-logged in. I STILL got an email but now sent to the new address I entered.
I only have Akismet and WangGuard installed. I’ve even added my IP address to the Wordfence whitelisted section, and nothing.
If it helps, I never started getting this notification until AFTER I paid for my host’s managed WordPress hosting. Once they transferred everything over to the new server, I started getting these notifications.
Also, I forgot to mention the notifications don’t recognize my admin login. I get an email that says something along the lines of “A non-admin user with the username ____ signed into your WordPress site.” And yet my account IS listed as an admin in the WordPress settings.

In reply to: [CommentLuv] CommentLuv DOES work with Jetpack… on my one site…Hey, I fooled around a bit with both plugins and found that I needed to click the checkbox that said “Allow Jetpack comments module to activate.” After doing that, I viewed the all-time-favorite “Hello, world!” default blog post, and I could see comments enabled as well as CommentLuv.
I’ve yet to test if it works, but it’s farther than I was 10 min. ago.

In reply to: Wysija Newsletters: centering@bcworkz, that all sounds far too complicated for my time right now, so maybe what I’ll do is hire someone to do this all for me so I don’t have to worry about it!
Thanks for ALL your help. I truly appreciate it.

In reply to: Wysija Newsletters: centeringThanks, bcworkz. (Also, sorry for the late reply – on vacation.)
I have actually tried this before and it centers everything all the time, which I don’t want it to do. I only want to center the form and submit button on some pages and not others.
