I’m still confused about this “commentless” template. Will this affect the posts comment on the single.php and index files?

I’ll check that thread out…I tried to put the getsidebar function in a bunch of places in both the pages and single.phps but can’t seem to get it to work.

I deleted page.php and it definitely worked, however…there were comments on pages where comments just made no sense…like, if I had an About page…why would I have ppl comment on whether or not they liked the sites mission haha. Any idea where to change that…single.php?

Will the same style appear when a user clicks not only another post, but another page?

Hmm there’s this weird looking doohickey on the left upper corner of the About sidebar box. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all the help guys – its very much appreciated. I’ve taken out the amazon code for now bc quite frankly, I’d rather the site just plain WORK. I’ll probably be posting regarding this digg integrator plugin which has been giving me problemos. Wish me luck!

No I’m not going to change the Amazon code. I uploaded the old page and the error remained so it’s not that. What’s this about the doctype?

If I take the amazon code out and everything is okay…then where do I stand? How can I still place these ads? I can’t imagine I’m the only one experiencing this :(…right?

I checked my site using the validator earlier but all of the errors (53) had to do with the amazon code and not mine. As for the pictures…I’m just starting the site and want it to work before I dL the high-res beauty shots. Check out the contributors pg. though. Once I get a) contributors and b) good photos, I think it’ll be cool. also in IE (I use FF) the site is really messed up. Could that be bc of margins.

Alright I played around with the left_side divs and it messed a lot of things up. im also concerned with the sidebar bc opening the site in IE is disheartening to say the least. Im sure it has something to do with the widths but ugh. damn IE

as for those errors, most where due to the amazon code so no biggie!

ARGGGHHH!!! 53 errors! Ouch. Thanks for the help guys, I just checked your comments so I’m going to get at it and see what I can do about this. thx again.
