This worked btw, thank you!

Seems to have not worked and I still have that tan color. Also, using your direction of:

“Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Theme General Options -> paste the below code in Custom CSS box and save”

Isn’t working for me and I get the error “invalid value” when trying to edit my custom css. (I have a topic open on this and have updated it with a screenshot)

I found I have to use Appearance –> Theme Options –> General Options –> edit/paste/save code into bottom custom css box.

Hmm, looks like this will lead to a question in a another topic I have so I’ll go ahead and provide more information.

I found out what was wrong. I was editing my custom ccs in the wrong place. Thanks for your time though. ??

Ahh yes, #3 worked, thank you!

Still having some trouble with #1. I believe it’s not the active I’m trying to change the color of but rather the blue color when not hovering.

Okay, so #2 worked, thank you very much!

#1 did not. I just want to change the static color of the rectangle box on the selected menu item. When you hover over it the color is green and when it is selected it is blue. I want to change the blue. Hopefully that makes sense.

Looked into the widget areas and didn’t see any customization options for color. I already changed the border color to red on the “Coming up” box, now I just want to change the color of the background the “Coming up” text is on.
