I tried the above fix but found it did not work.

I have the same! It must be that, I thought it might be permissions, but it cannot be anything other then the upgrade as my sites that have not been updated to version 3.1 are fine and I can save the theme options. Do you think its worth asking the guys at studiopress?

I’ve just noticed this might be down to versions. The template themes seem not to work on versions of WP 3.1 but seem to work on older versions. Without rolling back, is there any suggestion that you might have for how best to make things work?

I have just gone to edit the magazine section of my other domains and websites and I’m also finding the same thing. Could this be a ploy by the theme designer to prevent further use of it?

No cat’s on front end on this template.

yes all appears to look fine…apart from the categories which do not display – but other than that all looks fine.

I’m installing by FTP – or rather just using the FileManager on my server to copy over the folder.

It appears it is just this theme. No idea why this should be so…
