  • phpBB3 can be added to your wordpress theme. It’s open source code like wordpress. You install it in it’s own folder and provide a link in your header, footer, post, etc. wherever you want the link to show up. I’m using it at refineryturnarounds.com. You can check it out if you like. I just recently installed it and don’t have many users, but it’s up and running.

In WP 2.6.5, the link is a small square, gray button where it says “Add media”.

Click on the add image button, click on “browser uploader” (I think it works better), select image, click “upload” button, the image url will be automatically loaded to the url line, (I personally don’t waste my time filling in description, title, etc. but you can if you wish), select a position button, select medium or full size and click on “insert” button.

That should work, because I uploaded an image while I was typing this.

I looked at your theme. I only see two columns. I can’t tell that one has moved. Do you have content in all 3 columns. Sometimes the columns won’t line up correctly unless there is content in them.

Btw – be sure to keep backup copies even when making seemingly the most minor change . . . you never know what will happen. I always ftp a good copy of a file to a special folder so I don’t get confused which one is the good one. I’ve done that before late at night.

I looked at your site and I don’t see the adsense ads either. Are you putting the adsense in the posts? If so, just copy the html from google adsense and paste it in the body of your post. That works for me and it eliminates a plug-in.

Killion, I don’t understand why you are seeking assistance here. I checked your theme and it’s was written by a company that is well known for providing fast high quality support. In fact, I checked their website and there are theme installation instructions that answer all of your questions.

I suggest taking another look at the color scheme. Also be sure to get the best photographs of your products that you can. Consider installing a lightbox so visitors can see a large image of the product. There are many plugins and I’ve pasted one link below:

Keep up the work. This is a long term project.

Graphics are very good. And nice deep burgundy red colors! I can almost imagine the legs and nose on a glass of cab. The graphics and color combinations should help sell the wine. Your client should be pleased.

Nice header image and good first job. I would suggest larger fonts for the menu tabs. They seem to be dwarfed by the large header. Overall nice job.

Excellent. It looks very professional. It’s what I would expect for a television station. How many people contributed and how many hours went into it?

    Tight. Nice work.

I had a similar problem with redirects by a malware. I called my webhosting provider and talked to a tech rep that told me this stuff is being passed along by search engines when a link is clicked. Check the last post in the link below. This describes the steps I took (at my webhost’s direction) and successfully removed the malware. P.S. Mine was the Russians also. I need to thank them for a couple of weeks of frustration. Good luck!

I had the same thing happen to my blog. Your’s sounds similar and the technical service rep at my webhosting company said he’s seen a lot of this same trojan lately. You may want to check out your htaccess file. See the link below:

I don’t have any other ideas.

Maybe it’s a path problem. Is the image visible in the ‘Media Library’ after you upload it?

If the image is visible in the Media Library, then try this, click on the Media Library button to open it. Double click on the image to open it. Right click on the image, go to properties. Copy the full image path and name. Then go back to your post, click on the add image icon and paste the full path in the URL box.

I have located the problem and it appears to be repaired. The link above (https://www.unmaskparasites.com/security-report/?page=www.coalgasificationnews.com) now checks out OK and the links it reports are legitimate links in my posts.

The 3rd time I called my web host, I got lucky and talked to a technical service rep who said that he thought he knew what the problem was, because he’s been seeing a lot of it. For the benefit of others that may have this problem, I will provide the details:

The technical service rep said that the malware is being spread through google, msn, yahoo during searches and when you click on a link it loads on your desktop machine. Then the malware sits there until you ftp some files. When I ftp’d some files to my website it captured my ftp information including password and installed on my website.

The malware installs a htaccess file in the root directory with the redirect code. It was easy to tell the htaccess file was malware, because it was blank when opened, but if you scrolled down the redirect code was there at the very bottom.

The fix was too (1) delete the bad htaccess file(s) in the root directory. In my case there were several, because I have more than one website. (2) Change the ftp password for the account. (3)The technical service rep said to go to https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/uninstall-antivirus-2009/ and follow the directions. This is freeware and I ran the scan as directed and it discovered – TrojanZolb. FYI – I ran a complete scan using both Avasta and Antivir the day before and neither of these found TrojanZolb.

Thanks to all for the help. I hope this helps others.
