In reply to: [SW Chosen] How can I change the height of the chosen plugin?Thank you Noahj Champion! Worked great, I have a couple of more questions.
1. In my select menu, the arrow in it is too high, and when I try to adjust it with line-space or padding, it moves, but so does the text in the menu, I can’t seem to just move the arrow down to the center. I am using the premiumpress theme using the December child-theme with no other customizations apart from this chosen plugin.
2. Is it possible to add additional plugin features like the optgroup option to the chosen plugin?
Thank you

In reply to: [WP Chosen] Does this work in backend scenarios?Does this plugin work for front-end, (theme) scenarios as the screenshots only show for the wordpress admin select menus? Another question is can this actually work for search boxes too? If not, any other recommended choices?

In reply to: Adding shortcode to external splash pageHi,
It seems to me that it just has something to do with this particular plugins shortcode because I am able to execute other shortcode on that same splash page, just not the wpgmza shortcode, by the way, that is the wp-google-maps shortcode which I do like as it has features that I really need to use. Anyone have any other suggestions that may make the wp-google-maps shortcode work in my splash page located outside my wordpress install folder?

In reply to: [Hide My Site] Can't make login screen go away, Please Help!I have a clean installation of wordpress a multi site installation. I have activated the hide my site plugin under one individual network site I have created, but it’s not working on the ‘sub-site’ only the root. Is there something I am doing wrong, or is your plugin not compatible with multi site?
Thank you

In reply to: [ Classipress ] Import Settings Help, Please!Hi,
I have found the problem…I was testing with the Classipress default ad “My First Classified Ad”…I deleted that ad, but it was not officially deleted in wordpress just in the trash folder, so when I tried to restore, the ad already exists according to the importer. So I deleted it out permanently and low and behold, all is good, it imported that ad back in and I seen it, so as they say, seeing is believing. Maybe this will help someone else.

In reply to: Quick question regarding MultisiteHello again,
I have another similar question as above…
After reading about the wp multi site setup, I am not quite sure if I would actually benefit from using it or not. Here’s what I mean.
I plan on creating a website (advertising related) there will be several main sections.
Example:
1. Classified Ads Section
2. Banner Advertising Section
3. Forums Section
4. A Media Wall Section
5. A Live Chat Section*Possibly a couple of other sections as well but those listed above would definitely be on the site.
I was planning on basically using one WordPress installation and creating sub-folders for each section on my ftp server w/out multi site.
Example:
/classifieds – word press would be installed here
/wp banners plugin – word press will NOT installed here but the plugin WILL be a wordpress plugin
/forum – NOT a word press plugin
/media wall – possibly a word press plugin
/chat – not a word press plugin
so based on the above setup, would creating a wp multi-site be a recommended option? If so, why, and if not why? I would like other points of view because I think I am missing a connection with understanding the original wp multi site docs.
Note: I am trying to make the website optimized for high amounts of traffic, even though my current server is on a shared hosting account. (my plans are to get lots of traffic, even if that is not the case in the beginning) I just want to if I plan for large amounts of web traffic, how should I go about setting up the website in the current situation?
Thank you

In reply to: Quick question regarding MultisiteHi David,
Thank you! That’s all I needed to know. I have been using a plugin / theme called classipress, which seems to be good, but I have also installed some other plugins on a single site setup which I believe are causing issues with payment settings, I guess I have have to thoroughly test my sites checkout procedure before I consider this a plugin issue or not. But it appears (imo) to be one though.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Polls not showingHi,
I am also having this issue…I am using the widget to display polls not displaying polls in a post.
The issue is that I have set the widget settings to display random polls, I only have two polls currently and when I check the widget, sometimes I get nothing in the widget (no poll at all) and other times I get a one but not the other. I never get a ‘random’ poll, meaning just one of the two polls, it’s either nothing or just one of them.

In reply to: [Search Exclude] Is this plugin compatible with WordPress 4.1?Hi Roman,
Thank you so very much! This has in fact fixed my issue, I have only tested very minimal, meaning I don’t know if all is 100%, but it appears to work as you say, and I have noted that it does in fact exclude the post as pages as I desire. It only returns the classified ads on my website. I only have a couple of ads as I just started out, but your plugin does in fact work.
Here’s the website: https://www.worldclassads.com
Thank you so very much!

In reply to: [Search Exclude] Is this plugin compatible with WordPress 4.1?Hi,
Have you found anything that might lead to the fix to this issue? I know it’s only been a couple of days and there are quite a few plugins to debug, but if you can resolve this, you don’t know how happy I will be, and I do need it.
Thank you
