We’ve release 7.8.4, so no need to manually update. If you update your site, is the warning fixed?
Thanks for the detail! We were able to confirm and have prepared a fix.
If you install the upcoming version 7.8.4 available using the dropdown “Advanced Options” beside the “Download” button, does that resolve the warning and the translations are working again for LifterLMS?
Thanks for confirming the version you’re using. We do have debugging output and logging enabled.
Could you confirm where you are seeing the notice exactly?
Also, can you confirm if you’ve gone through the debugging steps of disabling other plugins and switching to a default theme, and if the notice(s) persist? There may be a customization on the site that is outputting a string with the
lifterlms
textdomain earlier than it should.Hi @masouddarvishi1992 !
We are not currently able to reproduce this notice. Could you confirm what version of LifterLMS you are using? Also, does the notice appears when all other plugins except for LifterLMS are disabled and you switch to a default theme? Be sure to make a backup of your site before doing so in case there are any issues deactivating or reactivating plugins or themes on the site.
Hi @itapress !
Yes, that was likely it. We usually push a release with the readme.txt pointing to the old version first, in order to ensure the zip generated by wp.org is correct.
I’ll go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved. Thanks for the report and have a great day!
Hi @itapress,
There does not appear to be any errors related to the translation import in Slack, and there are no new translation strings between 7.8.2 and 7.8.3. Are you having issues translating on translate.www.ads-software.com?
Cheers!
We have released version 7.8.2 which aims to avoid a fatal error if this file is deleted from our release files incorrectly.
I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but please confirm if this fixes things, or open a new thread if a different error occurs. Thanks!
Thank you @nghtmre and @torrp3nn for the report!
We’re not yet able to replicate the error, and that file does exist within the zip. We’ve only had a handful of a similar error report out of the hundreds that appear to have downloaded 7.8 so far.
Is there a security or malware plugin running on the site by chance? Which hosting company are you using, and is there a security/malware service provided by them that may be deleting that file incorrectly? Though the
/includes/class.llms.l10n.js.php
file has been in place for some time (and exists in both 7.7.x and 7.8.1), perhaps it’s being flagged incorrectly as an issue in the latest version.Any additional detail on your site and the hosting environment you could provide, and how the plugin is being updated, would be appreciated to identify what’s going on.
Cheers!
Hi Michael,
Great to hear. Thanks for the update!

In reply to: [Event Calendar Newsletter] Using this plugin outside of wordpressHI @donstevens,
Good to hear you were enjoying the plugin but too bad you’re no longer able to use it!
We do have a hosted version called Events in Campaigns for those with events in Google Calendar, with thoughts to expand it to other providers in the future. Is it possible for the events to be added into a Google Calendar as well?
Cheers!
P.S. We love the finger lakes, all the best with the site + newsletter!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar Shortcode & Block] Show organizer Name in listHi @yaelduckwen?!
I wanted to note that we’ve added the ability to use Shortcode Variables to the pro version, to easily add whatever organizer (and other) details you’d like. If the notes above did the trick to add it manually though, great!
All the best,
BrianThanks @wpexplorer for the review and for the notes! We’ll review your feedback and see if there are changes we can make on our end to make the job of a theme developer easier.
You may have already discovered this, but for the notification image vs. icon, you could add some CSS to hide the image itself and add an icon of your choosing. Alternatively and probably better from a theme point of view, you should be able to override templates like
templates/notifications/basic.php
and remove the image altogether with these instructions:https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-templates/
In your case it would be in your theme itself which others could override further by creating a child theme of Total.
Feel free to reach out by creating a new support thread if you run into any other issues or blockers, and we can do our best to point you in the right direction.
Hi Tony,
Thanks for the note about the
absint
addition for thelimit
clause. Switching that to a high number fixed the original query and still allowed for filtering by categories or tags (via atax_query
addition as you mentioned).All the best!
I ended up finding the documentation and getting a query going ?? The only thing left is finding a way to query for events that have a certain category (or categories) and also match certain tags. This returns no events, even those that have both the category and the tag:
array (
0 =>
array (
'AND' =>
array (
'status' =>
array (
0 => 'IN',
1 =>
array (
0 => 'publish',
1 => 'sold_out',
),
),
'AND*espresso_event_categories' =>
array (
'Term_Taxonomy.Term.term_id' =>
array (
0 => 'IN',
1 =>
array (
0 => '26',
),
),
'Term_Taxonomy.taxonomy' => 'espresso_event_categories',
),
'AND*post_tag' =>
array (
'Term_Taxonomy.Term.term_id' =>
array (
0 => 'IN',
1 =>
array (
0 => '9',
),
),
'Term_Taxonomy.taxonomy' => 'post_tag',
),
),
),
'limit' => '0,1000',
'order_by' => 'Datetime.DTT_EVT_start',
'order' => 'ASC',
'group_by' => 'EVT_ID',
)I understand if this is outside the scope of support though and if so, feel free to close the thread as resolved. Thanks!
Glad that did the trick ??
If you’re enjoying LifterLMS, would you mind rating it 5-stars to help spread the word? https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/lifterlms/reviews/#new-post
