That error is actually coming from the Redux Options framework that the plugin uses. This is a third-party options framework which other plugins use as well. It is possible there is a conflict. Please try disabling your other plugins and let me know if WTR begins working correctly.

You can turn off the plugin on a per-post or per-page basis on the right side of the page when editing the page in the Worth The Read box. There are options to disable the progress bar or the time commitment label for each page.

I actually did not intentionally do that and was surprised at that myself. I updated the Redux Options Framework (the third-party framework used to create the settings page for the plugin) and apparently that must have done it. I’m not happy about that either. I’m going to look into how I can move that back down and release a minor update to fix that. Definitely agree with you.

WTR has been updated so that you can target specific posts and pages now in version 1.13.

Testing this right now and I’m not actually seeing this error on my end. Are you getting the same error when you have the default WordPress theme active? And also what version of WordPress are you using?

Is LearnDash a WordPress plugin, and if so, can you direct me to where I can download it so I can do some compatibility testing?

Closing this ticket as this cannot be replicated. I believe this to be some sort of server environment issue.

So are you saying that you have the default Twenty Twenty-Three theme with Worth the Read active on the staging site and no other plugins, and the issue persists? If so, what is generating the LearnDash menu? Have you added this code custom, or. have you created a menu with this link in the Appearance >> Menus page? I would like to try and replicate this on my end.

I think the issue is that page is not a custom post type, it’s just a standard page on your site. Unfortunately you can’t yet target specific pages for the progress bar to display on. That is something we’ll add in the next update.

I checked your code and I’m not seeing the WTR wrapper being applied to the content on that page. Are you sure the slug isn’t about-brendan-aw instead of about_brendan_aw?
