The block editor is limited when I want to list excerpts from posts with a certain catagory for example.

Editing text content is limited (unless I drill down, which is why I want a Word ribbon menu).

I’ve added different block addons and found these useful, but it is still very clunky and unintuitive. This maybe as I said at the start, because i am used to wordprocessor style web design with everything available on the page.

Good thinking! Thanks. I am using Chrome and autofill is on. I′ll clear the cache etc but it is extremely useful so I will leave it on now I know it is only me and not my site users being affected.

Odd. I tried registering a dummy user to get that screen and it went through with no captcha! I′d been fiddly since posting this query so maybe I inadvertantly sorted it. Thanks.
