I am having the same issue after wp crashed after updating to the latest version a couple days ago. Can you please tell me EXACTLY what you did to resolve the issue? I’m a wp newby and not well versed in the program.

I have just emailed the developer and am waiting on a reply.

I posted here as I was unsure whether the custom-function.php file was theme specific or not so I appreciate you responding to my issue!

If they get back to me with a fix I’ll close this thread, if not, I’ll be back for more advice. ??

UPDATE: Something must have worked because I am now able to log into my site! YAY!

Sorry, to further clarify, at first when I tried to login to my admin panel after trying your fixes I just got a blank white page, THEN I re-enabled debug mode to see what was happening, and got the same error.

I’m having the same issue on my site and I was wondering if you could help?

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _deprecated_constructor() in /services/webpages/s/p/spnfanmovie.com/public/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 176

I tried both of your fixes – first I renamed the plugins folder to plug-outs, waited a minute or so, then renamed it back to plugins – then I disabled debug mode. Unfortunately it didn’t work as I am still getting the same error.

Did I do it wrong, or is there another possible fix for this?
