I too updated the plugin today and lost the menu icons. Just reverting back to the previous version to test.
I did go through an check that the plugin was active on my menu but that didnt seem to be the issue.
Rolling back to version 0.7.0 resolved the issue. Have to say I do love this wee plugin so would be really happy to assist in fixing the latest release any way I can. PS i use the ZEN theme.
