In reply to: Trouble with NameCheap, cPanel, Softaculous InstallHi,
I am from the Softaculous team.
The error “No data received” comes when the DNS is not propagated properly. Please try to ping your domain and check if it points to the correct IP or try a domain lookup. If the DNS is not correct please update your Nameservers properly or contact your host to get the correct nameservers.
Once this is fixed the installation should work fine.Forum: Fixing WordPress

I am from the Softaculous team.
It could be the .htaccess in your root domain i.e. (infochalice.com) causing the issue.
If you still face the issue please open a support ticket with us and we will look into it.

In reply to: STOP uncontrolled auto update of WordPressHi,
I am from the Softaculous team.
The auto update email you got was from WordPress and your site was updated by WordPress itself. Since WordPress 3.7 they have added this functionality to auto upgrade minor versions automatically and this is enabled by default for all WordPress installations.
As mentioned in the above post the following guide should disable auto upgrade :
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_WordPress_Core_UpdatesYou can then upgrade your site by one click from Softaculous panel.

In reply to: Adding a second subdomain and second blogHi,
I am from the Softaculous team.
You can choose the sub-domain from “Choose Domain” dropdown on the WordPress install form in Softaculous. Softaculous will copy the files to the path where your sub-domain is pointing.
Softaculous will ask you if the files already exists and will not overwrite the files unless you confirm it.

In reply to: Installation Softaculous and hide site for workingHi,
I am from Softaculous team.
WordPress is installed on your domain in the sub directory “test” :
https://kelstone.be/test/wp-login.phpBut the reason why you are unable to view the site is due to restriction in .htaccess folder which is redirecting you to the main domain.
Please modify the .htaccess in the root directory to allow access to the directory test.

In reply to: Multisite – sub domains individual admin 404 errorHi,
I am from the Softaculous team.
Softaculous installs Multisite for Sub-directories hence it does not work on sub-domains.

In reply to: Installation in subdomain problems 404 not foundHi,
I am from the Softaculous team.
It seems that the issue could be due to the .htaccess file which was present on your server. When you deleted all the contents (including .htaccess) and then installed WordPress again which fixed the issue.
