andr3w1, can you plese send me the childtheme that works, than you. I will try if I can customize it ([email protected]). But hope we will get an answer from the company who made this theme.

Btw. I as looking for other postings about the childe thhme, they are all closed – Why?

Hi, I have solved the problem!

Somehow the themes “Lighthouse” and “GeneratePress” have a problem together. About the problem above: I cleared everything and did a complete new installtion. I did NOT install the theme “GeneratePress”. Now it works fine.

I did another test using another URL. Again I installed the 2 themes and POW! All 2 themes crashed, also GeneratePress.

So my suggestion: Do NOT install “Lighthpouse” AND “GeneratePress”

OK, thank you! I really like that theme, it looks great, and I like this responsive menu.
I am curious how it will work out, together with some plugins (like WPML, I use a lot).

It was the plugin “WordPress Access Control”
I don’t know why…? Well, have to find another plugin for that…

I have one other question (only, I hope, so far):
I un-installed the theme but when I installed it again I had all theme settings as they were before. How is that possible?
Is there any code in another file that stays even if I delete the theme?

at the end before the last } closes?

If I do that I am getting an error message and neither the website nor the dashboard is shown. Did I something wrong???

Hi muntefer, do you know Shell light?

There is ONE landing page, the one with the 3 teasers (which are widgets), the button and the intro text. This intro text is not a page is is part of the theme, the only way to change the text is in the theme options.

Yes, I know, I can change the landing page and use a “normal” page but why should I use Shell then? It is a nice theme because of this special landing page with the 3 teasers. I have no reason to use Shell if I can’t use this special landing page…

So again: is it possible to have the text on the landing page multilingual (and how)?

I found an additional qTranslate plugin for the 3 widget areas but nothing for the intro text (of the button-text).
