Yes, actually WooCommerce and Divi are responsibles for those variations. So I unregistred some variations, then used?Regenerate Thumbnails?to deleted unused variations. Of course, I tested on a staging site before ??

I’ll have to check on how my colleague proceed when creating a revision, because when I tried to reproduce the problem, everything seems fine :/

Managed to make the revision disapears in the search, but still wondering why slug ans ID changes.

After further investigation, the theme used generates more variations indeed, but I’ve tried with the Storefront theme activated + Jetpack plugin and it will still generates multiple variations (the default ones) hosted locally. So Jetpack is only helpful for performance it this point.

I tried the Jetpack plugin, but the problem remains. All images variations are created and are in the wp-content/uploads folder.

But it seems that my theme is also creating some variations, so it’s not “woocommerce” only related…

@catacaustic Thanks! I just confirmed that Woocommerce creates all those variations. I’ll test the plugin to see If I can get rid of some variations.

Thanks for sharing. But with my knowledge level, I’m not sure to try this, furthermore if you say that you encounter hiccups and I’m not on a Nginx server (just realized you are, should have read more thoroughly)

@keithkhl do I understand that you managed to run a multisite installation with both subdomains and subdirectories?alongside, with a code snippet? Mind to share your recipe?

I’m kind of looking for a similar solution. I’ve installed a directory-based multisite (example.com, example.com/subsite1, example.com/subsite2…), but I was wondering if I could change the URL in the Info tab of the site (when editing the setting of the site) in order to reache the site with subsite1.example.com, subsite2.example.com as we would normally do with a custom domain.

All plugins seems out-of-date…
