Same issue for me – caused big problems on my site and had to roll back to the old version. We had Auto Drafts publish (blank posts went live on our site) when an Author created a new post.

I would love to but I only have the one and I am not able to share it or I risk breaking my contract.

Off the top of my head around 40. We’re a big site with 140 writers.

We had no luck with 3.4.1.

Had to roll back to 3.3.2.

We’re hosted with Pagely and they gave it a good look over and could not get things working.

The only way to access my site is by renaming the Jetpack folder.

Once it is renamed I can access the site Dashboard, I then give the Jetpack folder back its proper name and activate only the Photon, Custom CSS and Visibility modules. Within an hour or so the site becomes inaccessible again – with the same 503 Service Unavailable message.

In short – The only way to use my site is to remove Jetpack.

I also had a 503 – had to have my provider disable Jetpack.

As I use the custom CSS module, some components are looking pretty sad.

Has there been any update on the removal of ShareCount dependancy?

When I say most recent, I don’t mean by Time. I mean the last 5 posts in a category.

As our site is a large sports news site, we don’t need to display posts from 2 years ago, just the last 5 in each category.

The main purpose would be to show a sampling of posts from each Cat and each Author – we just have no need to display everything.

We already have strong caching in place as we receive over 50K visitors a day.

Might not work for you but a potential workaround – put a recent Tweets widget in your sidebar.

Hi – Facebook & Twitter are fine but the 3rd large button should be WhatsApp.

Tested in Chrome & Safari (desktop) and Chrome on iPad.

I’m guessing that once I hit their daily threshold the updates stop ?
I easily hit 50K by lunch time…the 10 K limit seems to be an issue.

Is there any update on this? Seems there was a big revision but we still need Sharedcount. $40 is a bit steep but my numbers are not accurate. I’ll have to discontinue using this if we still rely on SC.
