It’s the automatic background updates that are failing. Nothing else.

I don’t need to update manually because the “Update Now” button still works (I always install manually anyway so I have no problems there).

I don’t see how it’s a perm problem when the “Update Now” button still works either.

What could cause the automatic background updates to fail when the “update Now” button still works?

I don’t have multiple admins.

FYI, this bug is being worked on now by the developers. You can follow their progress from https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/29633 (they marked my report a duplicate so follow the link from my report to the original).

It was announced over a week ago they had a fix on the API side but it hasn’t been rolled out for some reason…maybe soon.

Actually, I switch to English and click “Check Again” to make the nag go away (I don’t have to actually update).

But as I said before, the nag won’t go away without switching back to English.

Nobody else has seen this>?

ipn.txt does have some info about my test cancellations so it is obviously seeing *something* from PP.

I’ll make a note to create a subscription and cancel it after going live to double-check but it seems all is fine.
