I updated the code, should work now.. not sure why it doesn’t work for you though. I tested on all blogs i had – it activated successfully. So if it’s still broken for you – tell me more about your PHP & OS where do you run this script.

thanks for your response! You’re right, I need to extend the cheks and make sure file has same or less rights, but not more.

I agree people need to have more secure setup, but a lot of ftp servers don’t allow remove write access to files for file owner, so people won’t be able to make those rights and get A grade.

For now all checks are done according to wordpress article. So you can checkout that article.

One of the biggest security issues is with rights/permissions. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to fix these issues unless you have ftp access to the site. I understand this is a potential security risk, and we take that very seriously, but it’s the only way we can think of to fix these problems. If you have another suggestion, we’d be open to it.

very-very sorry guys! I won’t put any more releases when i tired, promise… I did a typo with url and pasted wrong one ?? dumb. I just pushed 2.0.1 where i fixed the link under the green button and position of suscribe block.
