yes… it looks like I get a lat and long only but it’s actually way off. is the syntax I wrote correct?

apparently, it is working for scheduled posts now but it still doesn’t work for auto-blogged posts as far as I know.

Scheduled posts do not post to social networks.

Also, it seems no matter if I have on featured or custom it wants to grab the first image that I have in an anchor tag and post that to facebook. For my page, it’s a banner advertisement that keeps getting posted to FB. I have to turn off images for now, completely.

you can use it but it won’t post auto-blogs or scheduled posts to any of the social networks, at this time. if you want it to post, you have to go into wordpress admin, select the social networks and click “update”.

take out the link… so basically the image doesn’t link to the larger image of itself:

right now I have set to custom image. and if my post looks like this:

It will post the image.

However, if I take out the link IMAGE STILL HERE It doesn’t post that image to facebook. I guess what I’d like to see it do is grab the first image in the post and use it and if there is no image, then use the default “WSO balloon” image.

Hopefully that makes since. Basically, it seems as if there is some intelligence built in to use a picture from the post. I’m hoping, you could add just a little more “smarts” to the program and always have it grab the first image. Maybe that could be an option in the settings. For my site, it would be a super useful feature.

i’m talking about when posting to facebook. it will use the picture sometimes and sometimes it won’t

One other thing, i’ve noticed. It doesn’t always grab the picture from the post. I’ve tried to use both the featured & custom image settings. I’m really not sure why it does sometimes and not others.

Also, I’ve noticed a bug. When you update a post or add a new post and check the twitter / facebook checkboxes … it works fine but then if I update again without the checkboxes marked. It still attempts to post to twitter & facebook

that would be awesome.. he’s a good guy. probably won’t be a problem. the base version is pretty cheap. he’ll prob hook it up.

I think that works for manually created posts…

however, using wprobot.. is there a way to automatically check those buttons on wprobot posts? i have no problem modifying the code, if you can help thanks

The REAL problem is that any “SCHEDULED” post will not be posted to Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn, even if you check the buttons to do so.

Any work around or Fix to this????

for me it’s actually working on facebook now. there is a checkbox you can see when you post on the right side of the screen. Says

WordSocial

Publish on:
[x] Facebook

make sure that’s checked. you can even do it on old posts when you update.
