Just logged back in for about 15 seconds. Then I got shut out again. I’ve not been able to access and/or update the site more than 5-10 minutes over the past six hours.

This is a business website, and I’m desperate for help. Please advise.

The ellipses you see under the middle bubble should actually be text. The text is still sitting in the edit box. It just won’t publish. I just tried again a moment ago.

You can see the ellipses for yourself:

When I remove the text from the edit box and then “Save and Publish,” there are no ellipses. I put the text back into the edit box, and hit “Save and Publish,” and I get the ellipses.

The text I typed remains in the edit box. It’s there every time I go back in to re-edit. So the theme recognizes that there is something in that edit box, but it’s substituting it w/ellipses.

Just tried “Save and Publish” once again. Same issue.

It’s Customiz’r. As I mentioned above, my hosting company is telling us that they’ve encountered this problem before with this particular theme and weren’t surprised that it’s happened to me (even though it took months to manifest).

We are still coordinating with the host company to try to resolve this some other way. We don’t know what else to do short of switching themes.

    OK. We’re at a loss.

Initially, at the advice of our hosting company, we installed the regenerate thumbnails plugin. It didn’t work.

Then, in response to your suggestion, the hosting company set the PHP memory limit to 550M and upload max filesize & post max filesize to 512M.

That also failed to resolve the problem.

Our hosting company is now telling us this problem is a glitch with the theme itself (have you heard this?), and is advising us to switch to the twentytwelve theme to see whether the same image upload problem occurs there.

We’d like to avoid that scenario, since we have no sandbox, and all changes go live instantly. What a mess.

Do you have any other suggestions? We’re out of ideas.

@rdellconsulting, thank you! Adding “!important” to CSS code resolved my issue.

Next time, new topic. Sorry to clog the works. ??

I’m having front page issues myself. My site is still under construction, so I can’t post a link.

I tried using the CSS snippet to change slider text, and I can only change the slider titles and button text. The description text isn’t responding when I change the font in the snippet.

Same problem with the Featured Pages: Titles and buttons change, but the description font won’t respond.

When I inspect these elements, the line of code (which shows the font change I’ve made) appears with a line through it.

Note: This was a problem before my recent WP version upgrade and Customizr theme upgrade.

    What am I missing?
