Hi,
What’s your blog URL? (It looks like Jetpack isn’t activated at https://orijinn.net/blog/ .)
Hi,
Did you ever use the WordPress.com Stats plugin prior to Jetpack?
Did you ever change your blog’s URL or domain while using the WordPress.com Stats plugin or Jetpack (if you didn’t use the WordPress.com Stats plugin)?
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. The next time Jetpack deactivates itself, can you check your server error logs for clues?
What plugins do you have activated?
If Jetpack gets deactivated by itself again, please copy–paste the relevant lines from the server error log. Thanks!
Howdy, I’ll be happy to take a look.
What browser and version are you using?
I’ve tested this with the post you’ve linked to using an Incognito window with Google Chrome 23.0.1271.101 and I wasn’t able to reproduce your description.
If you’re using Mozilla Firefox, could you please try it in Safe Mode to narrow down a browser–specific issue?
Can you see if XML-RPC is turned on?
If you get the same error, could you please try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack, along with the other troubleshooting tips?
Hi Sandy,
Aside from administrators, you can allow other user roles to view stats by doing the following:
- Go to Jetpack in your dashboard.
- For the WordPress.com Stats module, click Configure.
- Next to Report Visibility, check the additional user roles that you’d like allow viewing the site stats.
Hi Ashley,
It looks like you were able to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com. Are you seeing that error in your dashboard?
Can you try deactivating, then reactivating Jetpack?
Hi,
What version of Jetpack are you trying?
Can you please take a full, uncropped screenshot of how your site looks with Jetpack activated, upload that screenshot to your Media Library, then reply with the file URL to the image?
To narrow down a possible theme–specific issue, could you also try activating a default theme (Twenty Twelve or Twenty Eleven), and let me know if you get the same result?
