We are having the same problem, hope it can be fixed soon!!
Thanks Steve, there are two of us
<style type=”text/css” id=”gutentor-used-block-8052″></style>
We solved the problem the plugin was inserting override dynamic css within the footer of the post [style type=”text/css” id=’gutentor-used-block-8052′] block of css [/style]
I couldn’t find out which block was associated with post 8052 within WordPress, but searching for that in the post-meta phpmyadmin lead me to some strings holding the unwanted overriding css… and i was able to delete it and get our custom css buttons back.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Can’t submit… sometimesI can send contact forms from two of our sites, from my personal email address (the domain is hosted by Google/Google Apps/gmail…. I can’t successfully send email if I specify my personal [email protected]. I can submit the contact form sucessfully as long as the from address on the form doesn’t end in @gmail.com … I tried my work address that is an Outlook hosted domain and it worked fine.
Success and failure from jon-nelson.com and joynavigation.com. Depending on the submitting email…

Still trying to nail down if it’s a problem with the plug-in or the network.

In reply to: [Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection] [Plugin: Akismet] Awaiting spam checkCould this just be a repercussion of a spike in comment spam? There is a noticeable trend of “Upward Ticks” over the last couple months.

In reply to: [Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection] [Plugin: Akismet] Awaiting spam checkThe obvious quick fix is to turn off comment notifications… but this has not been necessary in the past because the number of email generated was manageably low…
The widget doesn’t hold the chosen category. After selecting a category the dropdown snaps back to the first item in the list.

In reply to: Link Image Works in FireFox but not Chrome?I’m seeing funky disappearing images in Chrome and WordPress 3.1 as well…
Do the images return when you view the site after logging out and deleting your cache? It seems to me to be related to the new management bar… and taking those two steps seems to resolve the issue, until I log in and random images disappear again. Just a grey box.

In reply to: Admin sidebar stuck on minimisedI had a similar problem. I didn’t have to really hack anything to fix it. All I had to do was click on the downward pointing arrow next to the menu item to drop down one of the submenus
Pages * <—
_______________
Edit
Add NewAs long as all my sub-menues where collapsed, the whole menue would collapse down to the icons.
I’m not crazy about this, and I think it’s new.
My solution is to leave some of the sub-menues open, pages and posts, then it’s always the “wide” word and icon view.
Another way of stating it. As long as all your sub-menus are collapsed, the admin bar will collapse to icon view. If you widen it and click on the dropdown arrow on one menu, it will stick open.

In reply to: disabling admin menu collapseOk, I got it…
In order for the menus to pin open, you must collapse and expand one of the sub-menus (vertically) (the up and down arrows), as well as toggling the admin menu open (horizontally). I was simply clicking the double arrow to open the menu out horizontally… and expecting it to stick…. it doesn’t
… nevermind!

In reply to: disabling admin menu collapseNope, I just reset my cache, also tried Safari instead of Firefox 3.5… the menus will not stay open, each time I click on something else it collapses back to icon view.
The behavior of those plug-ins (according to the screen captures) is exactly what I’m trying to get away from.
