In reply to: Google maps ruins sidebar – IE6 onlyBrilliant Chris!
Thank You!!
In the end it was just a simple matter of being 10px too wide.
Great stuff – Really appreciated

In reply to: Google maps ruins sidebar – IE6 onlyI wonder if anyone could suggest a fix for my problem which appears only in IE6?
Problem page: Tennis Club – Location
I have a simple Google map inserted into a page (<iframe width=”480″ height=”400″ … etc), which works fine, with one exception…
The sidebar search & comments now appear at a level below where the map finishes. It seems that there is a /div missing or something similar but I can’t for the life of me find the problem.
Working fine in IE7, Firefox, Chrome, Safari
Any ideas?
Much Appreciated

In reply to: Images and Text formatting. Why is this happening?Boo – I have to agree, it’s a shame that so many questions go unanswered in this forum. This should be THE PLACE to get answers and support each other – it seems that those with the knowledge aren’t too happy with sharing. A shame.
Anyway, after much digging around I think I may have an answer for you:
When inserting or editing an image, ‘shift+alt+m’ brings up the old style insert image dialogue and this always seems to work.
Alternatively, wrap header tags around the html img src code should also fix it (I haven’t tried this one though).
Thanks to fizzbird, Andy C & gadget from the A4U forum for these ‘fixes’.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: Can’t login to wp admin – Forbidden(??)Ah-ha!
Having run out of ideas I contacted one of my hosts and asked them about this problem.
Turns out it was due to Mod_security being enabled! This is a ‘by request’ function which is set for security reasons.
Once disabled the admin worked fine!
Hope this helps if you’re having similar problems.

In reply to: Can’t login to wp admin – Forbidden(??)I’m a newbie to WordPress (although experienced in html/css, site builds, ftp etc), and I’m really keep to get to grips with it. Unfortunately I have EXACTLY the same problem as above:
The default site loads fine, I just cannot login to the admin, I always get:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /blog/wp-login.php on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
1. I’m using Version 2.7 and have followed the 5 minute install.
2. I have reinstalled numerous times on two different servers and still get the same result.
3. I have also tried resetting the password as suggested elsewhere.Have now run out of ideas!
Please could someone advise as to what the problem may be and how I can correct this?
Thank You
