douglib, you are totally right – in fact I went back to working with Joomla for this site – this happens to me far too often with WordPress and I’m not going to fight it any longer — oh well. Anyway, good luck and all the best.

I’ll tell ya Doug, my concern (and not only with this plugin) is that every time WordPress updates and the plugins don’t have support and updates as well then either the site will not get updated – core and plugins as well. If updating WP and not plugin then we get what we now have with various plugins and the site breaking or the function of the plugin causing a headache. I’m considering abandoning WordPress and using Joomla instead.

Anyway, hope the developer is well and that his health is not the reason for a delay.

Will be in touch when info comes available – and it will sooner or later.

douglib, I’ve found quite a few plugins but I notice that they are not getting supported for 4.5 either – the ones that are really suck! I’ve spent hours online trying to find something that will serve my purposes and was looking at CodeCanyon as well – don’t mind paying for a premium plugin as long as it is supported. If I find anything I’ll post in this thread.

Actually, there is a problem with the Pro version as well – yesterday both buttons are marked “Read More” rather than “Read More” & “Read Less”

Today there is not even a a second box, the one at the bottom that should say “Read Less” – I’m scratching my head now. There are not other plugins that interfere with it and tried the free version again but it creates many header errors and documents don’t save normally.

Apparently this problem does not exist in the Pro version – I didn’t realize that I was using the free version still and after installing and activating the plugin everything is working as it should.

I recommend purchasing the pro version which is only $5 and will save you a ton of work.

Yes, please please please provide an update compatible with 4.5 – thanks

One new thing is I am able to access the site and work on content BUT after editing or creating a page, using update gives an error message similar to above but does retain the changes only they do not show in the page afterwards until closing the page and reopening it then the changes are visible in admin and the site.

Error Message:
