Thank you.
Though it is the directory page, It does not contain the code for actual listing of the member type tabs. Can you please look into your theme and find the relevant code or ask your theme developer to do it?
Thank you
BrajeshHi,
That action does not do anything on its own. Can you please ask the theme developer what code they are using to add the member types list to directory. Fo example, One of our BuddyPress focused theme(Community Builder), we add it to the list. The action is there to allow developers ad extra tabs without modifying the template. Please ask your theme developer about the code. That will help us understand the issue.
Thank you
BrajeshHi,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. Are the assigned users active(visible in the directory)
If not, It is probably because of that. Also, BuddyPress does not support listing member types directly into the directory. It is a theme dependent feature(listing of types as tab).
The Has directory means that if you access yoursite.com/members/type/the-registered-type-name/ the users will be visible.
Hope that helps.
Regards

In reply to: [BuddyPress Sitewide Activity Widget] Search media library w/ post form?Hi,
Apologies for the delay. Can you please explain it in a little more details.
The sitewide activity widget only lists the activities. I am not sure if I understand how that will work in this case.
Are you looking for a way to allow searching for the activity? I will suggest adding a search form on the sitewide activity page for the purpose.

In reply to: [MediaPress] BuddyPress Privacy SettingsHi,
The Privacy of the upload from activity is governed by the privacy of wall gallery. At the moment, only public galleries are supported in activity since BuddyPress activit has no proper notion of activity. It may change in future.
Hope that clarifies.

In reply to: [MediaPress] Import photos to gallery from media libraryHi Earl,
I am sorry but it is not feasible at the moment. In future, I do plan to add this for the sitewide gallery.
There are some issues that needs to be handled before it. Currently the gallery/media relation is set via post_parent. So, It restricts us from using already attached media(if we use, It will need to be detached from the parent post).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MediaPress] Feature request for groupsHi Georgio,
Thank you. It’s a very good suggestion and I will add it in next update. Here is what I plan to Do:-
Allow site admins top select who can create gallery and who can upload. There is one problem with this plan though, if a siteadmin selects only moderators/group admins can create gallery, A user will not be able to upload to group wall unless a gallery gets created by the group admin/moderator.
Do you have any suggestions on how to handle that case?
Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] On upload this error msg “This file type is not allowed…”Hi Owen,
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Please make sure there is no space in the comma separated list like jpeg, jpg, gif, pngDoes that work?
Seems like we did not apply a trim space there. Will do so in future.Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] How to create a Public gallery?Hi @donsauce
I am sorry but your first question is not clear to me. I will try to explain what I understood and what can be done
1. Are you sure that it was coming from MediaPress and not other plugin. MediaPress has the following in user profile
Gallery(count)
– My Gallery
-Photo|Audio|Video..(If type filters are enabled
– Create Gallery [ The user should have the permission]When you visit Individual Gallery, you get another menu item added that says “Add Media”
Now coming to your other question:- Can you please explain what are you looking for? Do you want one single gallery for the whole site and all users should be able to upload there? or do you want 1 public gallery automatically created for each user ?
These two are doable with MediaPress(We have codes posted over our forum and I will link). Please do let me know and I will be able to assist better.
Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] How to link MediaPressHi,
Are you using it with BuddyPress? If Yes, Please make sure the directory is enabled.
https://buddydev.com/mediapress/topics/getting-started/settings-options/buddypress-specific-settings/#directoryYou will need to create a page and associate in teh BuddyPress Page settings and the page will list all the galleries.
If you just need the photos, Please use the shortcode from here

In reply to: [MediaPress] image upload in comment sectionHi,
Thank you and our apologies for the delayed reply. We do plan to incorporate it in the core plugin in future. We are not sure of the UI and the way to organize( Storing media ids with comment meta etc).
It is not on a priority list at the moment but will be certainly part of the plugin in future.
Thank you
