In reply to: [MediaPress] image upload in comment sectionHi,
Thank you and our apologies for the delayed reply. We do plan to incorporate it in the core plugin in future. We are not sure of the UI and the way to organize( Storing media ids with comment meta etc).
It is not on a priority list at the moment but will be certainly part of the plugin in future.
Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] Link previewHi Ositive,
Apologies for the delayed reply. We could not see it earlier. Yes, It will be part of 1.1Thank you
BrajeshThank you. That is certainly a good thing to add. I will update it on development repo and post back.
You mean the title message that is displayed in black when mouse points to the buttons?
Thank you for the details.
1. The “mediapress” you are trying to translate is part of the page url and we do plan to allow change it using the MediaPress settings in future. That is not same as translating. For now, If you want to change it, Please use the above method in my previous reply.
We have kept the default to ‘mediapress’ to avoid any conflict with other gallery plugins that you might use.
3. I am still not sure what you mean by floating message. Can you please provide a screenshot to explain it.
Thank you
BrajeshHi,
Thank you.
1. It is translatable. Please see this
https://buddydev.com/mediapress/topics/api-guides/configuring-mediapress-internals/
2. Good idea for restoring the settings, We will add them.3. I am sorry but this plugin does not add any button to activity. If you are looking for twitter like dropdown etc, Please check with your theme developer.
Thank you

It can be done via css. The css will mostly depend on your theme. Can you please point us to the site with a temporary account ( Please send it via BuddyDev contact form) ? We will post the appropriate css then.Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] image widthHi,
Thank you for posting.
1. Yes, It is possible to change Media size, I will explain in a bit. Please do note that the MediaPress grid should automatically show 1 image per row on mobile screen. If it is not doing showing, It is a conflict with theme css.
About Size:- MediaPress stores 3 media sizes for each for the image. You can see these sizes registered here
https://github.com/buddydev/mediapress/blob/master/mpp-init.php#L119You can add new sizes/ remove existing sizes by hooking to ‘mpp_setup_core’ action.
But most probably all you need is simple css fix for your theme to make the grid work properly. If you can point me to individual gallery, I may help with css.
Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] How does Media Press work?Hi,
Thank you for asking. Yes, This is exactly the use case of MediaPress.1. A user can create/upload to media galleries
2. Other users can see the galleries list(directory/archive) and clicking on gallery takes them to list of media(or shows using lightbox). Please let me know if you need any further clarification.
Thank you

In reply to: [MediaPress] Video ThumbnailsHi Ositive,
Thank you for the kind words and my apologies for the delayed reply. The automatic extraction of image frames from video will come next month as an addon. For now, You can set the media cover from media page.
I agree that we should have better icons. Hopefully, I will be able to add it or make sure that you can change it from your theme.
Thank you
