i was using this and it does seem to not work on 2.6 yes?

when you say REMOVE ALL PLUGINS ..does that mean disable them all before uploading the new files?

obviously i’m using the same plugins so i never upload those again i just upload everything pretty much other than wp-content directory

my solution is to REVERT back to a known working version which is scary on these live sites i guess its good i duplicated it before trying

please help me get a clear understanding of how to best avoid this blank screen when upgrading?

the admin side is ok ..but no site on the other side

this has happened to me what is going on ????

i can’t post as myself and it defaults to saying the first user in the post author list is the author

i do not touch that post author box

and even when i do the admin account (me ) is not listed even as an option to set as the post author!

so to fix this i had to delete this users account so the pages/posts revert to admin

yes the posts don’t appear on the manage posts screen and when i try to filter them (the category shows one post but i get this error at top of screen?)

can someone help or is there another plugin that does work??

having same problem whole site is blank after upgrading to 2.5 …. disabled all plugins ….tried switching themes nothing

tried this …saving general settings nothing

any other ideas please???

i just upgraded to 2.5 and what a nightmare the whole site is blank now …i can get to the admin

i tried disabling ALL plugins nothing

tried changing themes even to the default one still blank

can someone please suggest something else to try??

ok i’m seeing the template box now ..have no idea how i fixed it but here’s what i did

..i created a new page with 2.5 installed ..i copied my template directory uploaded the copy ….. then i deleted a category …

more stuff seemed to appear on the right column after switching to the copy of my template

after i deleted a category i went back to the page …and there it is the template drop down list thank thee lord!

same here this is so crazy how huge this is they just overlooked this very basic thing????? help!! rest i like so far MUCH cleaner but dang no page templates!?

this is happening to me to i can’t even add one custom field …it just says something strange happened

i have the same problem i installed…i have another version of wordpress running on another site but i specified to use different tables in database in the config file…i deleted those tables and tried to start from scratch but i keep getting this error and can’t login at all either
